Guys.. The famine is intensifying. For the sixth day in a row, Israel continues to close the crossings and prevent food, aid and goods from entering the Gaza Strip. Markets are empty, food shortages are increasing, medicines are decreasing, and hundreds of thousands are at risk of hunger and deprivation of life's most basic needs. A real human disaster that the world ignores without any attention, as if famine has become an event that no one should pay attention to.

B’Tselem urgently calls on governments and international institutions to act now, using all means available under international law, to prevent the forcible displacement of Palestinian civilians, collective punishment and extensive unlawful destruction in Hebron. Israeli leaders are openly declaring their intentions, and actions on the ground have already begun. Following the shooting near Hebron on 23 October, in which two Israeli soldiers were killed, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz openly announced plans to forcibly displace Palestinian residents and carry out extensive destruction in the area. In a statement, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared: “We will apply in the cities the successful offensive model we implemented in the refugee camps.” That same model has already displaced more than 33,000 Palestinians in the northern West Bank. Now, Israeli leaders are threatening to bring the same mass displacement and destruction to Hebron. Implementation has already begun. Israeli forces imposed a cordon on Hebron and Halhul, while the Civil Administration began demolishing Palestinian structures in the neighborhood of Farsh al-Hawa. At the same time, Minister Bezalel Smotrich announced the establishment of four new settlement farming outposts in the South Hebron Hills. Israeli leaders are openly announcing plans for collective punishment and acts that could constitute war crimes. These plans echo Israel’s devastating operations as part of the genocide in Gaza and mark a further escalation of its ongoing campaign of ethnic cleansing as part of the Elimination Project in the West Bank: the systematic dismantling of Palestinian collective life while expanding settlements and entrenching permanent Israeli control. The world cannot stand by as Israel continues its assault on Palestinians, waiting for yet more neighborhoods to be emptied and erased before intervening, despite what we have already witnessed in Gaza and the northern West Bank. Governments and international bodies must act now to prevent these crimes and protect Palestinian civilians.

My friends in Hebron/Al Khalil and Tel Rumeida have felt the screws turning by the occupation forces for decades, but this feels as if the effort is trying to give the finishing blow. But the dignified strength of Palestinians is remarkable.
Since this morning, I’ve been unable to leave my home. All checkpoints in H2 and exits from Hebron are closed. Israeli forces have begun demolishing homes and shops near the site of the attack. Residents are living in fear, cut off from basic necessities. We urgently call on the UN, international governments, and humanitarian organizations to act now: protect civilians, demand an end to unlawful demolitions and collective restrictions, and ensure safe access to essential supplies and emergency services. Hebron must not be forgotten. We need urgent action, not just statements of concern.

In 2024, he was wearing “Free Palestine” on the back of his cleats. In 2025, his Texans teammates selected him as the club’s Walter Peyton Man of the Year. I wish they would go beyond respecting him and join him in highlighting child martyrs of Palestine.
NFL star Azeez Al-Shaair honored another Palestinian girl today, wearing the name ‘Maryam Ghanem’ on his eye black during the Houston Texans’ game. Maryam was saved from her burning home a couple days ago after watching both her parents burn to death after an Israeli airstrike. This marks five consecutive weeks of Al-Shaair using his platform to honor Palestinian children.

Do you know how many people Israel killed in the Gaza Strip today? – Nine! A passing detail—one that perhaps few even noticed. Not because nine martyrs is a small number, but because media coverage of Gaza has receded to the point where nine people can be killed in a single day, and the news passes by almost unnoticed. That is the news... for those who still care.

September 23, 1970, 56 years ago today, the Original 9 signed $1 contracts in Houston, Texas. In doing so, women's professional tennis as we know it was born, and future generations of players were able to live out their dreams. It's important to recognize the other individuals who helped make this happen. Thank you to @ChrissieEvert, who came on board in 1974, and to @Martina who joined next. From the business side, we are indebted to Joe Cullman, Former Chairman and CEO of Philip Morris, Gladys Heldman, and all the tournament promoters who took a chance on us and created opportunities. Today, professional tennis players represent 10 of the top 20 highest paid women athletes, according to Forbes 2025 ranking. 56 years later, the impact of the Original 9 is seen in the careers and dreams of today's players. The legacy of the Original 9 lives on. 📷: HRMC, Houston Public Library

In just the two years between my visits to the West Bank (2017&2019), I was surprised at how much more oppressive life had become for Palestinians in East Jerusalem and the West Bank. That was nothing compared to what Israel has been doing while attention was directed to Gaza.
"All this didn't start with the current Israeli government, and it didn't begin on October 7th. Over time the methods have changed, the scale changed, but the direction remained. In the West Bank apartheid remains the central legal framework for understanding the Israeli regime and the crimes committed to maintain it", said Yuli Novak, B’Tselem’s Executive Director, at the launch of our new report The Elimination Project. A checkpoint. A community forced from its land. A farmer unable to reach his fields. An economy pushed further into crisis. A journalist arrested. These may look like separate events. B’Tselem’s new report shows that they are interconnected parts of the same system. Understand the logic behind what is happening in the West Bank. See the full picture.

The Israeli military has said it will treat children flying a kite in Gaza as an “act of war” and will respond to it. This comes after a few kites reached Gaza envelop’s settlements. This story barely made the news.

Watch all the way to the end. I appreciate @cbonneauimages for all the reporting from southern Lebanon. However, I wish she didn’t use the term IDF when her reporting clearly shows it is an occupation force, not a defense force.
Report from Zowtar, a so-called pilot zone, where the Israeli army is still carrying out operations. They detonated a civilian home during the report. Cameraman: @aliezzeddine00

Breaking:
🚨🇵🇸 BREAKING: Palestinian sources say Israel will halt its Gaza assaults starting Sunday under the new Trump roadmap deal; Israel has not yet publicly confirmed the news. Palestinian officials and factions said Saturday that Israel has agreed to stop its bombing, killings, and assassinations in Gaza beginning Sunday morning, as part of the roadmap deal Hamas and other factions approved this week. Israel has not publicly announced any such halt, and its strikes have continued since the deal was unveiled Thursday. At least 8 Palestinians were killed in nearly a dozen different attacks on the Strip on Saturday. Mohammad Dahlan, the exiled former Fatah security chief in Gaza who is more based in the UAE and has emerged as an influential figure in post-war planning, said Jared Kushner, President Donald Trump’s son-in-law and lead Gaza mediator, had assured him he reached an agreement with Israel to cease the assaults starting Sunday morning. Dahlan said the deal’s success now hinges on Israel’s full commitment to halting the daily attacks. Separately, a source from the Palestinian factions told the Quds News Network that Board of Peace envoy Nickolay Mladenov and the mediators had informed them Israel would halt military escalation and assassinations starting Sunday, adding that they awaited Israel’s own announcement. Dahlan urged all factions to commit to the agreement and halt “armed displays” or anything that could give Israel a pretext to derail it.

We woke up to a major catastrophe in Gaza. Last night, the medicine storage warehouse inside Al Aqsa Hospital was bombed!! The warehouse was dedicated to kidney patients and was one of the last major medicine storage facilities remaining in Gaza. Medical supplies are running out completely. Over the past few weeks, hospitals across Gaza have issued urgent warnings that their kidney units could soon shut down because essential medicines were beginning to run out. Then, just hours before dawn, the medicine warehouse itself was bombed. Since when has medical treatment become a weapon against us? In what religion, or under what law anywhere in the world, are medicines treated this way? How can the medicines that patients depend on to stay alive become a target? Gaza’s healthcare system is collapsing faster than you can imagine. We are literally on the brink of a massive humanitarian and medical catastrophe. Medicines are disappearing, hospitals are losing the ability to treat patients, and the attacks have not stopped for days. No one knows how much worse this collapse will become.

Section 224, which is pretty much guaranteed to pass at this point unless massive opposition is mobilized against it, is the most dangerous and deranged policy in modern US history. It fully integrates the US and Israeli militaries and transforms the "US sends Israel arms" legal-policy framework to "US and Israel are one and the same". It will make any embargo let alone limitation on weapons practically impossible to impose. It is unprecedented in all of history for a country to do this with its own military, and further proves that Zionists and Israel wholly own the US. Any politician and media outlet and just any person with a large platform who is not vocally and repeatedly opposing this is actively or tacitly helping ensure a permanent enslavement of the US to the genocidal Israeli death-cult and a guarantee that it will continue its genocide and wars indefinitely.

A reminder here that a genocide is ongoing. There’s no ceasefire from the Israeli military perspective. Mainstream western media is no longer reporting the continued assault on Gaza and I repost only a fraction of such reports that I see in my feed.
