User funds are safe!
It does look like a hack on Binance. Appreciate the quick freeze from Tether (~$971m) and Circle (~$823m).
I don't manage Binance (.com) anymore, but as a shareholder, I expect all user funds will be fully covered.

We've decided to sunset Arc on December 22, 2026.
That's not an easy sentence to write. We spent years building Arc and celebrating each and every release along the way: we have so much pride and love for what we made alongside the Arc community.
Our priority is to deliver best-in-class security for our members. Keeping a browser secure takes constant, dedicated work that is only increasing in the age of AI. Dia was built from the ground up to meet today’s security standards, so that's where our engineering and security teams will focus moving forward.
We've worked to make switching to @diabrowser as easy as possible for Arc members. Here's how:
· Your passwords, bookmarks, extensions and history come over to Dia seamlessly.
· Spaces, Folders, and Tab Groups are in Dia and import over with your data intact.
· Dia now surpasses Arc benchmarks in stability, speed, and security.
· The browser features you use in Arc are free in Dia, and the AI is optional.
Thank you for using Arc, for pushing us to make it better, and for building alongside us. The team that made Arc is the same team behind Dia, and some of our most ambitious work is just ahead. We'd love for you to be there with us when it lands.
Proud of this video I worked on for @0xprivacypools using public archival footage, a sprinkle of @ElevenLabs audio, and wholeee lot of editing.
Self-custody cannot scale unless consumers are given the same peace of mind privacy that their bank provides.

This week, @ActinideInc became the first startup in history to enrich uranium, producing HALEU, the fuel for next-gen and small modular reactors.
We did it using Endurance, a particle accelerator that we designed and built in Texas.
Endurance usually produces enriched Yb-176, a precursor for cancer therapies worth roughly $30,000 per gram.
After a bulk Yb-176 delivery on July 30, we reconfigured Endurance for uranium.

My thoughts on Midjourney + Co-Star from someone with one foot in the tech world and the other in astrology:
Ask someone for their birth chart on Twitter and 9 times out of 10 they’ll share a Co-Star screenshot. It’s a beautiful product, easy to read, and pings you short cryptic messages you’ll want to share on socials. Deep down everyone thinks they are truly unique from everyone else, and a birth chart is a great way to display their individuality, or joke about why they’re so fucked up. Co-Star is successful because many people don’t actually care about learning astrology, they see it as another thing to add to their dating profile like the initials of their Myers-Briggs test results.
But when you leave the tech audience, you’ll find a swarm of people from the astrology community telling you everything that’s wrong with Co-Star. Common complaints from users claiming their placements weren’t accurate and the satirical copy that could easily trigger someone already mentally unwell. This hate largely stems from an interview with Chris Brennan where Banu mentions they used to troll people with lots of trines in their chart with messages like ‘go start a cult’. The feature was taken down, but gets brought up consistently as proof that it was never about accurate analysis. In my experience, the chart is accurate (with generalized placement interpretations) but the transits and copy is very chatgpt ‘it’s not x - it’s y’ and don’t line up with those of better astrology transit apps.
IMO, just like AI psychosis, there is spiritual psychosis, and negative messages that tell people they will be lonely, miserable, or some sort of failure can easily one-shot someone who believes in astrology but lacks knowledge and/or discernment.
I can see people in tech continue to use Co-Star simply because of the AI connection, and dismiss haters knowing there is a general hatred of AI being inaccurate that leads to an unwillingness to acknowledge what AI *can* make possible. But some may never actually learn astrology or work with an astrologer to discover how they can use it to optimize their life. And on the flipside, I see the opposite happening in the astro community, where one mention of AI in astro readings becomes not only a debate about accuracy but about moral ethics.
What’s missing in the market is a consumer astrology app that actually helps people integrate astrology into their daily lives. Chani is a good example, but has too much bias in their interpretations. IMO this is partly why I think there’s a common misconception that astrology is only used by woo-woo girls. But there are successful CEOs, board members of major pharmaceutical companies, politicians from all sides and more who have personal astrologers. There’s a reason you’ll find zodiac paintings in J.P Morgans library, the Vatican, and archives of monarchs and other elites. And with the acceleration of tech (especially AI) it’s only going to increase the uncertainty in people’s lives about their future, and many will turn to divination to find answers they can’t find elsewhere.
Midjourney is acquiring Co-Star. CEO @banu__guler is now Chief Design Officer at Midjourney. She's building a cross-functional design, product and frontend team for all our efforts. The Co-Star app will continue to operate under Banus complete control. Welcome Banu and team <3
