During a break in the filming of The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus, 25-year-old Mick Jagger and 28-year-old John Lennon were photographed together by David Magnus. The two were standing near the stage, dressed in their signature styles of the era, while the crew continued working. The film was shot in 1968, but The Rolling Stones decided not to air it at that time. For years, the footage remained in storage, until it was finally released in 1996.
