have any of my oomfs/followers ever lived or spent significant time in MTL before the year 2000 and/or attended McGill University? Bonus points if it was before 1990. I have questions for a David/Yuna fic set in the 80sβ¦

We used to care so much more about division titles and league pennants and celebrating awesome accomplishments before the internet.
The entire movie Major League was about winning the division lol. Not the World Series, not even the Pennant, the division.
like im woke but also im from the rural south so yeah i swim in rivers and wear cutoff jean shorts and boots and cry to zach bryan songs :/ itβs about balance

it pisses me off so bad when people get mad at their pets for throwing up on the carpet
its an animal that felt sick and doesnt understand what a carpet is and now you're yelling at your poor pet that already felt unwell how do you not feel like a monster

We estimate that service restoration for #AO3 will take around 2 weeks but it could be up to 4 weeks. We are hopeful that we will be able to bring the site back up in a degraded state sooner. Refer to our status page for updates: otwstatus.org/

like Iβm not upset or anything (obviously), they provide this to us for free, but I would love a little more transparency on whatβs going on πππ

That sucked. Feel bad for all the hardcore Rays fans.
Good news is we have the Bolts. Who let us down and break our hearts in the first round instead of the last.

My one contribution to the unending Tampa Bay fan discourse is the local hockey team, the Lightning, is extraordinarily popular and draws remarkably well. So I think that obliterates the argument that sports by default can't work in this market.
