The demos really were amazing. Here we saw two musicians producing music and leveraging the touchscreen to interact with their app. Gentleman to the left said he was skeptical, but after two days he was sold on it.

"The latest difficulties show that “even a company with Apple’s engineering resources and supply chain discipline faces a steep learning curve in foldables,” according to IDC analyst Francisco Jeronimo 🚀.
Samsung Electronics, which pioneered the foldable field, also had problems with its first Galaxy Fold in 2019, Jeronimo noted. “It also showed that a fast and transparent response can contain the damage to a category,” he said, adding that Apple’s move Monday to send users to customer care is “the right first step.”

Samsung's new Fold 8 ad slices an apple in half.
The claim: 1.6mm thinner and 53g lighter than iPhone Duo. The specs back it up, 9.7mm/201g vs 11.3mm/254g.
What the ad skips: Duo is IP68, Fold 8 is IP48.
Thinner or dust-proof, which matters more to you?

I have a theory… 👀
Apple made the new iPad mini more expensive to make choosing between an iPhone Duo and an iPhone 18 Pro + iPad mini MUCH harder.
iPhone Duo: $2,000
iPhone 18 Pro: $1,100
iPad mini (Cellular): $849
Total: $1,949
JUST A $51 DIFFERENCE 🤯
Coincidence? I think not. 😂

🚨 FINALLY! YouTube has been optimized for the iPhone Duo! 📱🔥
Both the outer AND inner displays now have properly optimized layouts, and I absolutely love to see it!
The apps are catching up, and the Duo experience just keeps getting better! 🙌
Also, shoutout to my two favorite podcasts! 🎙️❤️

iPhone duo crease is all about viewing angle. I can pick an angle to make it look bad or make it look good. In the end it’s not a problem anymore for most flagship foldable phones
