This is the absolutely unforgivable mistake Renaud Camus makes with his writing on the Great Replacement. He says the Great Replacement is wrong because “colonialism” is wrong and mass immigration is simple “colonisation in reverse.” He wants to use this as a kind of moral trap for leftists—“see, you say the colonisation of Algeria and India by France and Britain were wrong: now you have to admit the colonisation of France and Britain by Algeria and India are wrong!”—but he fails to understand the logic of leftism or the brutal reality that actually it isn’t about logic or moral consistency at all. White people are a totally separate moral category from all “indigenous” people. What applies to one does not apply to the other. In fact, white people are the great villain of history, without rights and not subject to moral consideration. There is no law of equivalences or principle here. Leftists and non-whites are not interested in moral arguments about what white people are owed. This is the real trap and right-wingers just keep falling into it. You will never be accepted as a victim. You will never be accepted as having equal moral claim as the Māori, Aborigines, Bolivian Indians, Bantu peoples or the Palestinians. Those things you can hold on to will, ultimately, be secured not by argumentation but by will and resistance. Molon labe: come and take it.
