Let the record show that Republicans in the Louisiana Senate are not leaders. They are a reflection of some of the worst parts of America, and history will remember them in 4K.
Next week, this committee will vote on Louisiana’s congressional maps. Anything less than two Black seats is theft. They have already begun taking seats of power from us, so we need to begin the work of taking seats from them.

Media discourse on Caitlin Clark & stream of unhinged racist Angel Reese hatred has me deeply worried for her & also beyond her. As a student on impact of sports/MSM on society from Jack Johnson to Len Bias to Lance to Serena, etc, don’t be surprised if Trump weighs in soon because he sees the political benefit of playing to a racist base. Many other politicians too.
And main reason I’m scared is not just the sizable segment of racist delusional Caitlin Mob, but that mainstream corporate media won’t stop playing to that mob’s delusion for profit or play up “rivalry ratings”. But this “rivalry” is different from past ones. The cult of Caitlin is different & the hatred toward Angel is different. The # death threats she gets is different. And a capitalistic corporate media will squeeze every penny they can out of this no matter how much harm they cause. Too much money to be made. This won’t end well.
