Two weeks ago, we announced Buffer Commit, our first build contest. On October 28, the build window officially opened! 🎉
The idea behind it goes back to the very beginning of Buffer.

Ah! I feel you, @cathooman28 ! I have the same struggles with replying with non-generic replies.
Our Comment Score takes a number of factors into account (though it is only on comments on your own posts and not the posts of others). A couple of tips to get the score higher would be to at least dismiss comments you won't reply to or, better yet, to like a comment. Though I would highly encourage you to reply anyway (even if it might sometimes be generic) as engaging with comments can potentially have a huge impact on the reach of your posts.
All the best, Cat! - Mel

I’m so sorry you’re getting blocked at login, that’s frustrating! An “Access denied” page usually means our security checks flagged the connection, not your account. Could you try an incognito window with any VPN or ad blockers turned off? If that doesn’t work, switching to mobile data can help too. Keep me posted! -Lexi

Thanks for those details. A two-week-old account posting 3x a day through an API is a pattern we’ve seen TikTok hold back. TikTok doesn’t share why, but API posts on newer accounts seem to get much stricter treatment than native ones.
I'd suggest posting natively for a few more weeks while the account builds history, then bringing Buffer back in gradually. In the meantime, you can still plan in Buffer and use Notify Me publishing, so each post goes out from the TikTok app itself. -Julia

You got this! Totally possible to build using our API, too. No pressure at all - just sending you support, Marlene ☺️ -Julia

Apologies, the CSV upload feature is a little hidden. You can find it in your channel settings.

Is the TikTok account you're seeing this with a newer account? How many times per day are you posting? The timezone/location in Buffer shouldn't have any effect on views! -Lexi

I’m so sorry, I know how frustrating that is! Across thousands of accounts that post both ways, posts sent through Buffer get the same TikTok views as posts made in the app. Where we do see zero views is with newer accounts and high-volume automation. Posting 1–3 times a day, making each video original, and mixing up templated videos and captions usually helps. It’s also worth checking TikTok’s analytics, since TikTok flags posts it won’t recommend. Thanks! -Lexi

Hi there, I'm so sorry about this! Usually this has to do with a browser extension or network issue. Can you try opening Buffer in an incognito window to see if it loads properly there? -Lexi
