When the "no friends, only enemies" son 🐝 meets the "I don't have friends in the paddock...we are here to compete and fight for victory, not to make friends!" son 🦈

It’s funny that Pedro always says he wants no friends at the paddock bc he feels it complicates things when racing and Oscar has said before he thinks friendships between ppl in 2 separate motorsports/series are easier to grow and maintain bc of racing.. truly the cutest duo ever
God bless Zhou Guanyu and his "I wanted to spend time with him after the competition, to cheer him up. [...] it was a very happy evening, because I've known him for many years and we've always had a close relationship" nitter.cf/laurogeitabat/status/2…
Mind you, motogp riders are set to race in Qatar this very weekend and, instead of having their complaints listened to, they've been threatened with fines and possible race bans for the last two rounds if they don't show up. Pull your heads out of your pockets for ONCE
🚨 BREAKING: Hotels used by Formula 1 and MotoGP teams in Qatar and Abu Dhabi are reportedly among potential Iranian attack targets.
Iran’s Fars news agency has published a list of locations across the Middle East that could face retaliatory strikes if the US or Israel launches further attacks on Iran.
The reported inclusion of hotels used by racing teams raises fresh safety concerns ahead of F1’s final two Grands Prix.

As you said, if something’s shit, there’s no point trying to say it’s not. It’s been a tough year. There’ll be shit Sundays a year from now, too, and probably ten years from now. I hope you’re still racing then, so I can keep counting your points (whether I post them or not). :)
But I wanted to say that I’ve loved watching you race this year, good days and bad days. My dreams look a little different from yours, and I generally have the luxury of things going wrong in private. But there have been days when I’ve felt a long way from where I want to be, and watching you get back up and try again has made me want to do the same. You’ve shown how quickly things can turn around and how much it matters to keep showing up until they do. I watched you for months back when you didn’t know if you’d even get a seat in F1 and joked about being the champion of sitting on the couch. Back then, you kept showing up and doing your best even when the outcomes you wanted took a little longer. Sometimes the things you’re working towards take a while but they do come. So thank you for showing up this year, too.
With any luck, this is the season before things get really good again. Although... to be fair, there were a few Sundays this year I’d take again exactly as they were. I hope you would too. And for what it’s worth, I think some of the races I’ll be happiest to have watched you win are ones you haven’t even driven yet. 🧡
Every hour I'm spending without Oscar's México post I'm adding a day of peaceful swims and sunbathe in his Land Down Under during winter break to my wish. Also adding 10 bars of Tim Tams if the post is gonna be song less.
The moment you realise that the RB22, a car whose livery has been said to look pretty similar to the RB6's (the one with which Sebastian won youngest and first wdc) since the start of the season, was on podium and winner of the very gp that marked the rise of a new youngest wdc❤️🩹
