One of the more overlooked bottlenecks in institutional RWA adoption imo isn't tokenisation itself, it's making institutional data usable onchain w/o compromising privacy.
And @redstone_defi's latest development on @CantonNetwork is a pretty interesting step towards addressing that.
For context, Canton has attracted 600+ institutions, w/ the network reportedly supporting over $9T in tokenised RWAs + $350B in daily US Treasury repo activity.
But here's the interesting part.
Traditional financial institutions operate very differently from the "transparent by default" world of DeFi.
Banks, funds + trading firms can't simply expose their positions, counterparties, negotiated terms or collateral arrangements to everyone.
Yet these institutions still need reliable pricing data to value assets, settle transactions + manage collateral.
So how do you establish a common source of truth without revealing sensitive financial information?
That's where RedStone's newly approved Canton Access and Privacy Standard (CAPS) comes in.
The Canton Development Fund has unanimously approved the proposal, backed by a grant worth roughly $1.83M at its baseline valuation.
The idea is pretty straightforward:
🔹 Shared pricing, private positions → Institutions can reference the same underlying asset price while keeping their individual valuations, holdings + transaction details confidential.
🔹 Institutional collateral markets → Enables privacy-preserving pricing workflows for tokenised funds, private assets + collateral, an important foundation for onchain lending and repo markets.
🔹 Commercial data licensing → Traditional data providers can enforce access + licensing conditions rather than having to make proprietary feeds freely available.
🔹 Open infrastructure → CAPS is being developed as an open-source standard that other data providers + Canton applications can adopt.
The last point is particularly important.
Institutional adoption needs shared infrastructure, not another fragmented set of proprietary integrations.
The broader opportunity goes beyond simply pricing more tokenised assets.
As we've seen with the RWA-Fi thesis, bringing assets onchain is only the first step.
The real unlock comes when those assets can be reliably valued, financed, pledged as collateral + settled across different institutions.
But for that to happen at scale, DeFi infrastructure needs to accommodate the realities of institutional finance which includes confidentiality, compliance + proprietary market data.
This is where RedStone's positioning gets interesting.
From institutional-grade RWA pricing to settlement infrastructure, and now privacy-preserving data standards, the team is steadily expanding its role in the infrastructure connecting traditional finance w/ onchain capital markets.
CAPS is still in development, so actual adoption remains to be seen.
But with institutional activity on Canton already reaching meaningful scale, the need for this infrastructure is becoming increasingly apparent.
The next phase of RWA-Fi won't just be about how many assets get tokenised, but how seamlessly those assets can participate in real financial activity onchain.
And I think we're still v early in that transition.
Exciting few years ahead 🫡
Two banks settle a repo on @CantonNetwork. RedStone prices the collateral at $100. The banks agree on $98.
Who should know about the $98? Only the two banks.
That's the idea behind CAPS, and the Canton Development Fund has unanimously approved RedStone's proposal to build it.

Roughly ~1 day left for $ogNAMI presale before it wraps up.
ogNAMI gives you the first opportunity to bet on @namidefi's unified, multichain d(3,3) ecosystem as it's slated to go live on 5th nov.
A few perks worth highlighting:
🔸 Revenue sharing → 10% of swap fees from eligible gauged pools distributed to ogNAMI stakers in USDC.
🔸 Fixed supply → 250K max supply ($2.5M FDV) w/o emissions, alongside buybacks + burns funded by 5% of net protocol revenue.
🔸 Presale incentives → Up to 10% bonus ogNAMI for meeting staking requirements + eligibility for the $NAMI airdrop.
The interesting angle here is getting exposure to Nami's trading activity + fee generation across chains, rather than relying solely on emissions-driven incentives.
Ultimately, the value proposition scales with actual DEX adoption + sustainable volume.

One of my stronger convictions in RWA-Fi is that @pendle_fi is positioning itself at the forefront of the next wave of onchain capital markets.
We're talking about trillions $$$ in potential tokenised asset supply over the coming years, but bringing assets onchain is only half the equation.
The real opportunity lies in unlocking their productivity once they're there.
Its obvious that Pendle is increasingly becoming a fundamental layer for that.
A few developments worth highlighting:
1. From yield tokenisation to broader asset productivity
PTs have already established themselves as a core DeFi primitive for fixed-yield exposure + capital-efficient looping strategies.
With PendleLoop, that utility is expanding beyond traditional yield-bearing assets into leveraged exposure across BTC, ETH + tokenised equities.
Tokenised stock long strategies on @base now integrate borrowing through @aave, (up to ~4.2x leverage) enabling users to trade yield expectations towards helping them deploy capital more efficiently across different asset classes.
2. Becoming a value discovery layer for RWAs
From tokenised treasuries + private credit to AI infrastructure, reinsurance + equities, Pendle has reportedly listed 100+ RWA markets YTD.
*FYI: RWAs now account for >80% of its TVL.
What stands out is the breadth of exposure being brought into DeFi.
As more institutional assets come onchain, Pendle provides a venue where their yields can be priced, traded + incorporated into broader DeFi strategies.
Tokenisation creates asset availability, yield markets help turn that availability into financial utility.
3. Institutional credibility as a compounding advantage
The growing roster of asset managers is particularly notable:
🔸 Janus Henderson (deJAAA)
🔸 Franklin Templeton (FLHYon)
🔸 Partners Group (NGI+)
🔸 Bitwise (PPLUS)
Alongside its RWA Insights series featuring institutions such as Grayscale, Pendle is building relationships with some of the most established names entering tokenised finance.
This matters wayy beyond the immediate TVL contribution.
Institutional relationships bring credibility + differentiated asset supply, which can attract more liquidity, improve market depth + strengthen Pendle's position as a destination for future RWA listings.
And that's where the reinforcing flywheel gets interesting.
More institutional assets → broader yield markets → deeper liquidity + capital utility → greater incentive for new issuers to participate.
Ofc, the flywheel depends on actual market demand + sustainable liquidity, not simply the number of listings.
But the direction is pretty clear.
As tokenised assets proliferate, the opportunity increasingly shifts from who can bring assets onchain to who can make those assets productive.
Pendle is building a pretty compelling position at that intersection.
A 24/7 yield discovery layer for an increasingly onchain financial system.
Best part of this? We're still vv early in this transition.

If someone told you there's a >40% APR delta-neutral opportunity in crypto, you'd probably think it's a scam.
@boros_fi's spread markets are making opportunities like these possible.
Ofc this is headline APR so its not truly representative the effective return on total capital deployed (actual yield will be reduced by abit with additional buffer capital for margin maintenance)
Still, pretty chonky returns considering the ~$35k underlying position size here.
Opportunities like these have been popping up more frequently lately, making funding rate arbitrage an increasingly.
Great time to capitalise on these and you can expect larger notional size opportunities to improve over time
Today, I rolled over into a new @boros_fi market using the close & reopen option.
APR moved up, so I locked in 42.69% fixed APR for the next 33 days.
If you're not learning how to use the Arbitrage Terminal, you're missing out on opportunities to capture this kind of yield.

My @boros_fi legs mature in 7 days.
Last roll locked me into ~44% fixed APR for 39 days.
Preparing for the next one.
Two ways to do it:
1. Close & reopen now with 39.69% fixed for the next 35 days
2. Open the new market, keep current legs until Oct 30 (hedge new legs with perps, leave old ones unhedged for the final week)
