The word "narcissist" is not in the Bible, but it definitely speaks of liars, revilers, and "dividers". So pastors, beware...these are the wolves that we must protect the sheep from.

Political violence is a feature, not a bug of progressivism. Because progressivism is built on top of a Critical Theory lens that sees the world through "Oppressed vs Oppressor" categories rather than a Christian Theology lens of "Right vs Wrong", it trains people to see opponents not as mistaken, but as evil oppressors. If you believe someone is mistaken, you try to persuade them (what @charliekirk11 did). If you believe someone is an evil oppressor ("literally Hitler!", "fascist", "existential threat to democracy", virtually everything and everyone is "racist"), you will feel a moral obligation to stop them. This is why there is radically disproportionate violence emerging on the Left.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE IS REAL! Demons are real. Satan is real. Angels are real. There is an invisible battle that is relentlessly unfolding all around us. It’s a fight between the forces of darkness and the forces of light for the souls of humanity. Demons (aka “fallen angels”) are seeking to deceive, distract, discourage and destroy believers in Jesus as well as drag unbelievers to hell and through hell. Read the Gospels and you’ll see demons everywhere. Read the news and you’ll see the impact of this unseen battle in the visceral, visible world. Read Ephesians 6:10-20 and you’ll begin to understand the impenetrable and invincible armor of Christ that is available for every believer to put on to guarantee victory in our daily battles against the Devil. The second book I ever wrote was on the subject of Spiritual Warfare (Battle Zone: Arming Yourself to Wage War with the Devil; Moody Press; 2003; out-of-print.) I wrote this book specifically with the hope it would clarify and demystify the subject of spiritual warfare for the typical Christian teen. Yes, there are those of my brethren who get a little crazy when it comes to spiritual warfare and sensationalize it beyond the boundaries of Scripture. But there are FAR MORE believers who minimize it. This is dangerous. Because if you don’t know a lion is loose roaming around in your neighborhood you’ll soon become its dinner. “Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.” 1 Peter 5:8 Be strong in the Lord. Put your armor on. Fight the good fight.

Pastors and leaders, these two things almost always go hand in hand in ministry: 1. An open door for great work where you are. 2. Many who oppose you. When God is working, the enemy is lurking. But it'll be worth every battle... Stay in the fight! #NeverGiveUp

Worth the read for my KJV only friends or those, like me, who were raised in that tradition.
🧵/ Forgotten Facts about the 1611 King James Version (KJV) 📖⛪️📜 The KJV stands as one of the most influential English Bible translations in history—but there’s a hidden document in its legacy that few talk about: “The Forgotten Preface.” This nearly ancient document holds incredible insights into the translation philosophy, purpose, and process behind the KJV. Let’s uncover some of these “forgotten facts” together. 🧵

Amen!!
Add one drop of poison to a glass of water and it ruins the whole thing. Add one work to the gospel of grace (turn, try, cry, surrender, forsake, get baptized, etc) and it ruins the whole thing. We are saved by faith alone in Christ alone based on his finished work on the cross.

AN HONEST ADMISSION AND ANNOUNCEMENT: Podcast world has been an interesting ride for me. For years we @dare2share did a few youth ministry podcasts (Gospelize with Greg Stier and The Greg Stier Youth Ministry Podcast.) These podcasts did pretty well in the youth ministry space, but, after years of doing these, it seemed like it was time to podcast to a broader audience. So our team launched the Radical Like Jesus podcast several months ago. While I've enjoyed it, I've struggled to "find my voice" in the much saturated podcast world. The 12 episodes we have done so far have been either me chatting about an insight from the life of Jesus to a camera or doing an interview with someone who is living radically like Jesus or has deep insights into what it means to live like Jesus. So here is my announcement: I have decided that I'm going to do more preaching than interviewing or "chatting to the camera" on my Radical Like Jesus podcast starting in May. While I love interviewing others, I'm no Joe Rogan or Jimmy Kimmel. I'm a preacher. A preacher has got to preach. Yes, there will be interviews on the podcast from time to time (actually the one coming up next week with Grace Wallace is AWESOME), but starting in May, expect a monthly sermon about what it means to live radically like Jesus. As soon as I can do more than one sermon a month I will. By God's grace, I'm going to preach every sermon as if it were my last. I'm going to preach every sermon as if it were my final address. Using the life and teachings of Jesus, I'm going to preach with an intensity that will challenge my small podcast audience to live radically like Jesus. And, like in every sermon I preach, the Gospel will be preached clearly with a challenge to respond. Also, every episode will remind the listeners/watchers of the "power of the Gospel and potential of teenagers." If you would like to hear these monthly sermons please subscribe and help me spread the Word. So, what do you think? gregstier.org/podcast/radica…

It is AMAZING to be in the middle of God's miraculous, life transforming activity! It is also very humbling, because you're only there because of God Himself. It was His idea, His voice, His call. You just simply said, "Yes" with your life. #obedience

AMEN. The simple, pure Gospel of grace. We receive the free gift of eternal life simply by faith alone in Christ alone. And THEN the life-long journey of sanctification begins!! – at Kentucky, USA
If I could turn from my sin BEFORE I came to Christ I could, in a sense, save myself. The Gospel declares to me that I CAN’T turn from my sin in and of myself. I am helpless before a holy God, condemned as a sinner before the righteous Judge of the universe, unable to do good and please God (Romans 3:10-23.) Knowing this, I come to Jesus in simple faith, believing he died in my place for my sin, and trusting in him alone to save me from my sin (John 6:47.) He forgives me for all my sin (past, present and future), imputes to me his righteousness (2 Corinthians 5:21) and gives me the power and desire to turn from my sin. He spends the rest of my life turning me from my sin (Jude 1:24) and conforming me into his image (2 Corinthians 3:16-18.) First comes faith in Christ, then comes the desire and ability to turn from our sin. To mix that order up adds works to the Gospel.

To all the pastors out there prepping for Christmas Eve services I have one challenge for you: Give the gospel as clearly as possible. It may be someone’s only time attending church and one chance to hear the Gospel. Here’s a podcast on how to be clear. podcasts.apple.com/us/podcas…
