My earlier X (Twitter) account was hacked in July, and despite repeated attempts and complaints for over three months, I have been unable to recover it. I have sent 50+ emails and received not a single response. That says a lot about X’s customer support system and its disregard for the concerns of its subscribers.
Much thanks to our cyber security experts here and @X for this sheer incompetence. @elonmusk
I am now active on this new account, despite my deeply disappointing experience with a platform that cannot seem to protect the security of a paying subscriber, let alone provide basic customer support or respond to legitimate concerns.
Yet, you continue to stay here because of the people you connect with, the knowledge you gain, and the information you exchange. Before bragging about Starlink in the name of education and seeking to attract more subscribers and revenue from India, @elonmusk should first ensure that X has a responsive support team that takes its existing subscribers seriously.
Requesting everyone to connect with me on this account and help spread the word as we rebuild our network.
Thank you for your continued support.
Powerful address by PDP President Ms @MehboobaMufti at the INDIA bloc’s Public Impeachment of CEC Gyanesh Kumar in New Delhi.
When institutions meant to safeguard democracy leave no room for accountability, the people must raise their voice. The right to vote is sacred, and no eligible citizen can be denied it. Democracy cannot survive without an independent Election Commission and accountable institutions.
The only thing getting a workout is our ability to procrastinate. Even the machines deserve a break from this level of exploitation 😂

PRESS RELEASE
A Media Trial Cannot Replace Security, Accountability and the Truth
An Appeal for Responsible Reporting, Fair Investigation and Protection of the Collective Dignity of the Kashmiri Pandit Community
Recent developments concerning a police complaint involving members of the Kashmiri Pandit community have generated considerable public discussion and media attention. While every complaint must be taken seriously, it is equally essential that allegations are not presented as established facts before the competent authorities have completed a fair and impartial investigation.
Of particular concern is the apparent gap between the facts that can be established through the legal process and the broader narratives circulating in sections of the media and on social media platforms. Attempts to attribute responsibility for alleged threats against PM Package employees without independently verified evidence risk prejudicing the investigation, damaging reputations and deepening divisions within an already vulnerable community.
The matter reportedly involves allegations of online targeting, harassment and threats. The precise nature of these allegations, the available evidence and the responsibility of any individual must be determined through due process. No person should be declared guilty through media narratives, public speculation or social media campaigns.
At the same time, the security concerns of PM Package employees must neither be dismissed nor trivialised. Their safety is a legitimate and serious concern that demands an evidence-based response from the police and administration. Equally, any individual who believes that they have been falsely implicated, subjected to online harassment or unfairly portrayed in public discourse must have access to legal remedies and a fair hearing.

Heartbreaking to see Pahalgam, a paradise on earth deeply loved and cherished by Mufti Sahib, being ravaged by reckless, almost vengeful construction under the patronage of those in power. Nature’s priceless heritage is being sacrificed for quick profits, pushing its fragile ecology to the brink.
God forbid Pahalgam suffers a catastrophe like those witnessed in Uttarakhand or Nepal, leaving this paradise in ruins. Who would visit it then? The judiciary remains our last hope to intervene before this looming disaster becomes an irreversible tragedy.

Pahalgam Turning into a Concrete Jungle? 🏔️
Despite a High Court ban, illegal hotels and resorts continue to mushroom across Pahalgam. Are political patronage, corruption, and vote-bank politics putting Kashmir’s prized tourist destination at risk?

JKPDP President Ms @MehboobaMufti listened to copper artisans near Jama Masjid, who have kept Kashmir’s rich cultural heritage alive through generations of traditional craftsmanship. Expressing concern over the challenges posed by machine-made utensils, she called for strict enforcement of the 2006 law protecting 26 copperware items from machine production and demanded loan waivers to provide relief to struggling artisans.

A judge’s conscience cannot awaken only after demitting office. If Justice Kaul believed the CJI was too deferential to the government, why weren’t these concerns voiced while he was on the Bench? Judicial independence demands courage when it matters, not years later safely tucked inside a memoir? . Was that silence justified? Asking ?

China and India in a standoff at multiple locations along Arunachal border since July, India hosted Xi Jinping from Sep 11-13 for the BRICS summit.
“In the past few-days, a situation arose where face-off happened at several locations in Arunachal and it still continues,” ITBP D-G Shatrujeet Kapur said on Thursday.
This is the first official confirmation of the scale of the continuing tensions on the north-eastern border since July this year.
Government sources told The Hindu that since late July, India and China have been engaged in a stand-off at Asaphila near Taksing in Arunachal Pradesh. The Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) is said to have pitched tents at an elevation, within 6-7 kilometres of India’s perception of the Line of Actual Control (LAC) near Maja company operating base in Taksing circle of Upper Subansiri district, sources said. J&Ks environment is no joke. Forestry students study 80 subjects over 4 years. Just as only an MBBS student can become a doctor similarly Forestry posts can only be filled by candidates who’ve studied Forestry which is a professional qualification. Especially given the massive deforestation & environmental degradation in Kashmir.
Request Forest Minister @JavedRanaa & @OmarAbdullah Sahab to consider changing their recruitment rules. You cannot choose petty politics always over logical policy decisions.

Visiting mosques in Muslim countries, praising their grandeur and projecting respect for Islamic sentiments and heritage. Yet at home, a 120 year old heritage mosque near the Prime Minister’s residence faces an eviction notice threatening its very existence. This glaring contradiction between admiration for mosques abroad and blatant disregard for the religious sentiments of India’s own Muslim community is mind boggling, to say the least.
#WATCH | Ganderbal, J&K: Following her visit to protesting forestry students at SKUAST, PDP leader Iltija Mufti says, "What the NC government is doing defies all logic. We require an MBBS degree to become a doctor, an engineering degree for engineers, yet for positions in the forestry department, they are allowing candidates from the general category. Their demand is simple: a forestry degree is an extensive, four-year course of study, covering 20 distinct subjects each year, amounting to a vast curriculum. How can the government suggest that someone without a forestry background is qualified for these roles? What could such an individual possibly know about ecology, the environment, or flora and fauna?..."
