Really good essay here on the state of Arkansas athletics (and a solution!) from my friend Kyle. "Follow the money"

Interesting discussion on CNBC this morning with $HOOD CEO on prediction markets in the context of sports. Argument was that trading futures contracts on sports events outcomes doesn't amount to sports gambling because there is no "house" and price discovery is dictated by buyers and sellers. Agree!
Is anyone else trying to correlate their Garmin watch sleep scores with sports betting performance? Pretty weak, but I guess I celebrate too hard after my (rare) wins. @JeffreyBenson12 would be interesting to see some charts from survivors who made a deep run...
Idea for @ArkRazorbacks and @HunterYurachek: concession prices fluctuate with performance. 0-5 start to league play? $1 drafts! @JohnNaborsShow @TyHudson83 your thoughts?
I don't understand the hate on DK's subscription idea. Absent an investment in price by FD, the DK subscription boosts their parlay prices to be better than FD's (and everyone else's). The counter of "we already give you the best prices with no subscription cost" isn't valid.
And if the bettor is going to fire the parlays anyway, why not pay the $20 and increase your ROI?
Say your standard parlay is 3 -110 legs at $25/ticket. For $20/month you get a 20% boost. The subscription more than pays for itself on your first win. Leveraging a fixed cost is a win for the bettor.
Trying to be open-minded about @DKSportsbook’s new “parlay @costco fee” in NY ($20/month gets you limited boosted odds), but are they giving @FDSportsbook a free shot at their face when it comes to marketing? Want to see it in action before deciding (not kidding)
I think it’s great to see a market leader launch a subscription business; at a macro level, it’s validation of the model we launched two years ago. While the fundamentals of the DK subscription are much different from BroThrow’s (subscribing to boost parlays vs. subscribing to eliminate the vig), it’s giving bettors an opportunity to leverage a fixed cost, which we believe is a tailwind to retention.
One of the (many) great things about @brothrowbets is the ability to see what other people are betting on. Every profile page has a public "Past Bets" tab that shows the results of their last 10 games. There's no hiding that I lost on SF last night!
First @RobinhoodApp, now @cryptocom. Feels like a lot of momentum building toward the commingling of sports and investments.
A quick 🧵on @cryptocom's launch of sports betting (link in the replies).
TL;DR: Crypto.com's move into sports betting is a watershed moment that could fundamentally reshuffle the competitive landscape for gambling in America.

Winning starts with our fans. When I walk the concourse at games there aren’t food options for families who don’t want to spend a lot of money. That needs to change, so today we’re rolling out our $2 value menu for all home @Suns games.
If college athletes are getting harassed by bettors for not hitting their props, I gotta think the fantasy players are out for blood!
7.9% of teams in Yahoo leagues lost their matchup because Jonathan Taylor dropped the ball.
It was an 8.1 point swing in half-PPR scoring formats, going from a 41-yard TD (worth 10.1 pt) to a 40-yard run with a fumble (2 pt) per @katemagdziuk
