3 losses vs good teams, all clutch games with <5 point leads in the last 5 minutes. JB struggling a bit post surgery. Mikal in a Mikal like slump, which he's done and come through many times. Mitch a huge loss, which we knew, Drummond not the solution, which we knew.
It's fine.
still in awe of Brunson last night. He really is 1 of 1. I haven't written anything for years, but wrote this about the experience of Brunson doing Brunson things when he signed - and it's basically this x 10000000.
Obscenely skilled human.

Got a generational playoff whistle, bricked clutch shots for five games, tried to injure guys, had an objectively terrible offensive series, took no accountability as a leader of his teammates.

Quick thread for old-times sake. Feeling nostalgic.
Jalen Brunson slowly solved the Wemby Problem as the series went on, due to his greatness — yes — but also due to the talent of his teammates, and in particular his unique center combination.

Still annoyed this isn't etched in stone as a special moment in Knicks playoff history smh
As timely and eloquent a demolition as you'll ever see.
HHT continues to cook with these video essays.
He brought respectability back to the Knicks.
But has Tom Thibodeau become the thing holding the Knicks back from reaching their ceiling?
A new video essay from @HotHandTheory—on what Thibs built, and why the Knicks may need to leave him behind to chase a title.

New Britain, CT legend. Salute, Thibs. If the Knicks are able to go all the way in the next few years that story begins with Thibs, Leon and Randle.
