If Peyton Manning could tell teams how to develop young QBs, what would he say? His answer should be on every owners' desk today.
This Is Football with Peyton previewing the playoff QBs just dropped.

I asked @RealTannenbaum about the Jets.
"If you're running the Jets today what are you doing?"
"I'm talking to Aaron Glenn about his process. A couple of things that really bothered me from [Sunday]..."
Offense, game management....Mike T breaks it down:
The pre-draft evalation @RealTannenbaum wants back?
Caleb Williams.
He explains why he missed on the Bears' superstar. Good discussion.

A *great* This Is Football with @RealTannenbaum and a first (I think): His Bad*ss was a coach, Eric Mangini, who *broke his leg* during a game and never missed a day. But Mike T had to go on the headset with Parcells and Belichick briefly. He explains:

The point of football is to win the Super Bowl. I love process, I love trade value, I love the long game. Terrific things. But the point of the sport is to get a ring whenever you can and everything short of that is functionally useless. The Bears get it.

The Bears know they have something and they’re going for it.
I told @PaulPabst and @andrewperloff that the Bears were my NFC pick BEFORE this trade. Now we're cooking with gas.
"If I'm going, who in 2031 am I looking back on and saying, 'Yeah, that sounds right'? Right now, it's the Bears." — @bykevinclark on who he thinks will win the NFC.
Jeffery Simmons leads everyone at his postion in sacks and pressures when double teamed. That is the ultimate sign of dominance. Awesome trade. Bears are probably gonna win the NFC. Good franchises make damn sure they solve problems. Bears are a good franchise now.
Talked to @Sam_Neumann_ at @awfulannouncing about Omaha Productions and how they do things as part of a really, really good piece about the company and their audio slate.

Excellent TIF on tv tonight with Calvin Johnson and Mike Tannenbaum. Mike T clips coming tomorrow. Both guys were great.
An UNBELIEVABLE Badas*es with Calvin Johnson on Ndamukong Suh. This is the good stuff.
"You want to talk about a bad motherf---er. He was on my own team and I was scared of him. Our offensive line were scared of him...country strong."
Hilarious stuff on @NdamukongSuh.

I asked Calvin Johnson the biggest difference in receivers now vs how he played.
1. Receivers get more flags.
2. Player health is prioritized.
A really great explanation of how the game changed. Starting with flags for illegal contact, which he talked to Randy Moss about.

When I talk to the actual ball knowers about Toney they go out of their way to make the point Belichick does here: his blocking prowess and how eager he is to do it. Belichick knows.
Last year at Pittsburgh a fan walked up to me pregame near the stadium entrance and said "you guys don't have much to worry about, there is zero chance Narduzzi has a plan for Toney at all. You guys can do whatever." Some fans just know ball.

Bad*sses with Trent McDuffie: NICK BOLTON. One of his favorite teammates ever.
"He's a pitbull."
"When you have ten tackles, three TFLs and a sack but you're like 'bro but I missed two tackles' yep you're a dog."
Great praise from @trent_mcduffie on the great Chiefs LB.
