We're putting $3.5M behind one idea: show people a future worth wanting and someone goes and builds it.
3-minute films. The winner gets theirs produced by Range, with a budget up to $15M.
4,000+ already in. Submissions close Aug 15.

Honestly, when I think about living longer, I think about the time when I can BEGIN AGAIN. What does that mean?
Learn another field. Build another company... Watch my kids become people I haven't met yet. There is so much life ahead worth staying healthy for. This is why longevity is personal to me, and it should be to you too.
Robot. Cyberspace. Metaverse. All named by fiction writers first.
Robot comes from a 1920 Czech play, R.U.R. (Karel Čapek credited his brother Josef with the word.)
Cyberspace: William Gibson, 1982.
Metaverse: Neal Stephenson, Snow Crash, 1992.
And in 1945 Arthur C. Clarke sketched out satellites parked in geostationary orbit. People still call it the Clarke orbit.
The story names it. Then someone builds it.
Which is why I care what we're writing right now. AI is learning what the future looks like from our stories — and if every story is a wasteland, guess which future it learns.
That's the whole bet behind the Future Vision XPRIZE.
What's the next thing sci-fi gets to name first?

We're running multimillion-dollar prizes to inspire hopeful visions of the future with Grok Bot as our buddy
Currently with a team of about 15 small @bot 's each with one job:
- one routes every task to the right bot
- one runs my calendar and morning brief
- one runs our project board
- three work sponsors (find, track, strategize)
- a four-bot writers' room for an animated series
- one nags me at 8am to post this (it's working)
A few things they did this week:
1. Turned one long brain dump into 16 ninety-minute focus blocks, each linked to its tasks
2. Pulled every task out of our calls, started the work in Linear, and tagged a human only when one was needed
3. Caught two teammates about to pitch the same festival partner with different asks, and set up an alignment task the day before the second call
4. Built a 16-slide pitch deck overnight from a one-page outline, flagging every number I still needed to check
5. Read a conference program with ~900 speakers and turned it into a 4-day plan of 35 sessions and dinners, on my calendar with the clashes flagged
6. Noticed a partner deadline was days away and that my follow-up email was still sitting in my drafts
So far, foor us, narrow bots beat one smart bot. Each one knows its lane and gets really good at it.

Ambition is contagious. So is resignation. Look at the five people you talked to most this week. That is your forecast for the near future. Do you like the forecast?
AI spend per employee is going vertical. The top 1% of companies are at ~$7.5K per employee per month.
How much of this spend is on useless product features and social content?
Or 1000s of internal tools that barely get used?

It was the best of times and the worst of times to be young in 2026.
- In one city, a 22-year-old sends her 511th application into the void, and a chatbot rejects her.
- In the other, a 27-year-old is handed unlimited AI and told to rebuild Cisco.
Same timeline. similar ages, two completely different worlds: 🧵

Today, I’m launching NeoGenesis Capital with @YianniPsaltis.
Five years ago, I became an early investor in @Colossal Biosciences. Then @BenLamm and @Geochurch built a platform at the intersection of Superintelligence and Synthetic Biology that can build living products… programmable biology.
NeoGenesis invests in Colossal and the spinout companies built on their platform across food, environment, entertainment, security, and species reconstruction.

How do I stay optimistic while reading 100+ stories a week (Including the negative ones)? For me, optimism is a conclusion that I can keep re-deriving from evidence. Perhaps once the data proves me wrong, I'll change; however, forty years in, I've never been this excited about the future.
(1/2) After 2,500+ submissions, THE GIFTED by Jeff Synthesized is the grand prize winner of the Future Vision XPRIZE! 🎬 Announced at Moonshots LIVE, the film receives a $2.5M equity investment and $100K for screenplay development to have their vision turned into a full-length feature.

I made $504,571 in September 2026.
🎛 Polyfork.dev — $504.5K
📷 Pitchfra.me — $29
🐱 Mydev.cat — $27
I started Polyfork 2.5 months ago inspired by my work in 3D and my love for retro and mobile games.
I always wanted to make a platform, I just love building tools and stuff that people find useful, and when I joined @shipordie_ I learned and realized I could just do it and build things.
I built 5 products in 2 months and learned really a ton, learning by doing is just the best way to learn for me (thats why I dropped out of University every time I tried).
The 5th product I built, and my favourite, was Polyfork, it blends my love for 3D, games, platforms, coding... everything I've been doing on my computer since I was a kid.
A friend told me to apply it to the XPRIZE hackathon since it was fitting. Long story short, project earned me 4.5k this month plus the first place of the hackathon ($500,000).
Thank you @marclou @jackfriks @levelsio for the inspiration to build!
I made $217,071 in September 2026.

The HYROX experiment hyrox.marclou.com inflates this month's revenue, but it's the best month ever for my marketplace TrustMRR.com ($53K) and my SaaS DataFa.st ($31K).
I do everything solo, and I'm not going to lie, I'm fucking proud of myself.
Since I was a kid, I've been told to focus on one thing. I find that boring. I want to play and try a bunch of things.
I never felt confident because nothing really worked out for 7 years. I ended up being average at everything: coding, marketing, design...
But building 37 startups (marclou.com) taught me something far more important: resilience, discipline, and optimism.
Over the past decade, those skills have compounded. I now run a tiny portfolio of startups making $1M+/year, sleep 8 hours a night, work out 2 hours a day, and spend plenty of time with my wife.
Anything is possible if you're hungry.
Believe in yourself.

I'll say it again, the opportunity in AI is NOT to remove all humans from every job, process, or even skill.
The goal is to remove the FRICTION that is keeping us from doing our most meaningful work across an array of areas that we could not do before.

I agree with @JeffSynthesized, winner of the FutureVision @XPRIZE, that we should be people-first and filled with positivity, and that's how we can create a better future for all of us. Congratulations!
