The real threat of #AI isn’t deep fakes of famous people. It’s people sharing fake images of their neighbor killing a cat in their HOA chat.
Or of a defendant in a rape trial sharing fake videos supporting an alibi
And so on. x1000s every day.
My @nytimes crossword app crashes and restarts every time I open it. So what? Well, I can’t work on a spelling bee puzzle for more than one day. This is killing me.
The only reason I rented from an expensive conglomerate nightmare like @Hertz is I thought they’d have the resources and process to have my back if things went south when traveling. I, uh, was wrong.
