Cakes with Faces

Thank you to everyone who's pre-ordered my Japan calendar! 🙏 I'll be sending them out towards the end of this month, in time for Christmas & the New Year. They usually sell out before Christmas, so pre-ordering's recommended: cakeswithfaces.co.uk/product…

If you need a stamp book for collecting souvenir stamps in Japan, I have two designs! They're tried & tested in Japan, with quality paper & LOTS of pages :-) cakeswithfaces.co.uk/product…

A look at the new kiosks at the airport for Japan's new tax-free shopping procedure that starts on 1st Nov (pic from the Japan Times). Here's my video explaining how the new process works: youtu.be/sfKwLrbCSXQ

Arg I missed the black sesame specials at Komeda Coffee!

I haven't seen anyone talking about this! In Harajuku I saw the building work for the replica of the old station that was demolished in 2020. It'll be a "commercial complex" (shops & cafes?) - and this must be it! It's right next to the new station (on the left in the pic).

My calendar has the dates of Japanese festivals in 2027 (there are SO MANY!). Pre-order now, and they'll be sent out in time for Christmas & the new year: cakeswithfaces.co.uk/product…

Thank you Dean & Irene for this pic with my Japan guide book in Tokyo! 🎶

Japan's new tax-free shopping system starts on 1st Nov. Instead of taking the tax off at the till, you'll need to scan your passport at the airport to get the tax refund. Full details in my video: youtu.be/sfKwLrbCSXQ

✈️ Took SEVEN flights (I've made a donation for carbon offset...). 🍡 Hung out a festival back in Tokyo. 🎎 Explored Tokyo's sumo district. 🐧 Panic Suica penguin shopping spree.

🤿 Went snorkelling with sea turtles (my first time ever swimming in the sea!) 🌳 Stayed in a TREEHOUSE in the forest. 🍦 Blue Seal ice cream challenge - find out if I managed to try every flavour! 🚗 First time driving in Japan 🍈 Tasted goya (Okinawan bitter melon). 🧵

I'm back from Japan! ✨ So that means shipping's back to normal - and if you placed an order while I was away, it's on its way to you now (thank you!). 🙏 We did SO MUCH - I can't wait to edit all my new videos... 🧵

The perfect place to escape the city in Tokyo, for a moment of calm in a traditional Japanese garden. Take a relaxing stroll with me (with matcha and sweets!) in today's video: youtu.be/Zh4-cHwOQ5g
