People in #Radyr & #Morganstown do not feel Council Tax is being reinvested fairly back in the ward. That’s what the vast majority of respondents to my community survey say. It’s hard to disagree when our funding applications for local projects get overlooked year after year.

We were initially told they’d be gone within months. Another Plaid lie.

Like many, I was horrified when the Green Party chose to classify Zionism as racism at its conference. As they have a record of allying with Labour & Plaid, I raised this at #Cardiff Council. Labour did not rule out working with them after the next election. Very disappointing.

There was cross-party agreement in @cardiffcouncil this week on making sure our waste services work for residents - not just when it comes to rubbish collection but the state of the public realm too. For me, we cannot overcome this without tackling anti-social behaviour head-on.

From Monday 26 to Friday 30 October, TfW will run a reduced service between #Cardiff Queen Street and #Radyr while maintenance work takes place. More information at tfw.wales/projects/metro/sou…

This is disgraceful. There’s no other word for it. It shows a complete lack of respect for our communities. Tougher penalties are required for fly-tipping, with more resources put towards enforcement. Those responsible must fear being caught and facing the consequences of their appalling behaviour.

Welsh Minimum Unit Price - these 3.4% bottles of weak lager bought mainly by old ladies for family parties are available for £2.99 in an English Aldi, but must be sold for no less than £5.53 in Wales. What problem drinker is going to be interested in this?

The Conservatives have condemned BBC education material that promoted open borders policies to Welsh pupils. The video, found on the Wales section of the BBC's Bitesize website, referred to fulfilling the "promise of a truly borderless world". 📸 BBC

Enjoyed a fine breakfast at Buds in #Radyr after spending a morning talking to residents who filled out my community survey. It’s great to see a small business thriving in our community - it was fully booked for lunch - especially at a difficult time for entrepreneurs. #budsbuzz

Why are panellists on #bbclaurak always so dire? Mad Nad back at it saying low public spending led to the riots in France. Ah yes the famously thrifty French. And Dale Vince sympathising with calls of ‘protestors’ but can’t define them. @afneil’s Sunday Politics had it right.

Interesting these are now in shops to explain to customers why prices have gone up.

Spotted some spooky houses on Heol Isaf this morning while frightening residents with my scary survey 🎃 Well done to them for putting in quite an effort! You can have your say via the link - if you’re brave enough 👻 cardiffconservatives.org/rad…

More ahistorical nonsense from the Anglophobic separatists. Never mind that it is built into the funding formula for the devolved administration that England subsidies Wales. Can’t believe we have to put up with 4 years of this. Get on with the job!

The pavements in north #Radyr need remediation but after four years it has been like pulling teeth. This week, I presented a petition signed by dozens of residents asking for some attention. We got action on potholes after my last petition - fingers crossed for this one too.

Consultation on Labour’s plans to charge people for driving to work in #Cardiff has opened. @Conservatives believe this combined anti-car & anti-job agenda will harm businesses & workers in our city. FAQs here ➡️ cardiffnewsroom.co.uk/releas… Respond here ➡️ cardiff.gov.uk/workplacepark…

Some would argue it’s a TAX on Businesses..which some businesses may pass on to its workers…residents won’t have to pay towards it.. so why would they be against it? People that don’t have a car or a job will have a say..as happened when removing 2 hour free parking. @JoelTory

Designed in the 1950s and built in the 60s, the M4 motorway and the Brynglas Tunnels through Newport cost the Welsh economy millions in lost productivity.

Thanks @KemiBadenoch - we could do with @swpolice doing this in #Cardiff. Can’t remember the last time I went into the city centre without smelling it. It’s commonly reported to me by my constituents as a reason to avoid there. Police must stamp out anti-social behaviour now!
🚨 NEW: The Tories have called for the police to arrest anyone smoking cannabis "If an officer can smell cannabis in the air, I expect them to take action: find out who's smoking it, arrest them and prosecute them"

My heart goes out to people in Gwaelod after the horrible flooding this summer. Communication from quarry operators has been poor while #Morganstown residents have long expressed concern about blasting causing tremors in their homes. I will be taking this further. Clip in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
