@sconeraceclub @SkyRacingAU
Off to @thebrookracing with 🔹MAGIC STORM🔹 today. ✨
〰️ 1000m Class 1 Handicap -R4- 〰️
The imposing 3YO steps out of maiden company after a promising Tamworth debut win, showing plenty of ability while still racing greenly.
With seven rivals, a kinder draw in barrier 4 and some give in the ground again, she gets her chance to build on that start with Ashley Morgan aboard.
Back at the provincials with 🔹ALABAMA BLITZ🔹 at @newcastleraces_
〰️ 1500m Maitland Cup BM68 -R7- 〰️
The 5YO mare found the line well for 2nd at Scone in solid BM74 company on her stable debut. A two-time winner here over a mile and further, she gets an extra 100m after five weeks between runs.
Mikayla Weir partners her for the first time from barrier 7, looking to find a suitable spot before building into the finish.
✨ Good luck to her owners today.
An exciting Saturday with two runners taking on Royal Randwick. ✨✌️
🔹HALO PHENOMENA
〰️ 1400m Highway -R2- 〰️
Second-up after a narrow Tamworth 3rd, the 5YO returns to a trip where he won well last preparation. Fitter now, he gets a sound opportunity in a strong race from barrier 7.
🔹WHERE’STHEPROFIT
〰️ 1100m BM78 -R10- 〰️
The capable 7YO makes his metro debut after his track-record win at Dubbo. With six wins and three 2nds from 11 starts, he tackles stronger company from barrier 5, unbeaten at today’s trip.
Both to be ridden by Alysha Collett.
Two in the feature as we take three Coonabarabran for Cup Day today 🙌🏆
🔹TAIPAN LEGEND👇
〰️ 1600m Showcase Cup -R7- 〰️
The 6YO returns to his preferred mile third-up, boasting five wins and two 2nds from nine attempts. @NickHeywood8 reunites from gate 4 with the opportunity to roll along and make it a front-running test.
🔹ALABAMA BLITZ
The 5YO steps up in trip after a strong-finishing Scone 2nd on her stable debut. Grant Buckley rides at 55kg from gate 10, looking for cover off a solid tempo and the chance to build late.
A provincial assignment for our sole runner 🔹TAIPAN LEGEND🔹@newcastleraces_ today.
〰️ 1350m Jungle Juice Cup 🌴🏆 -R7- 〰️
The flashy 6YO steps up in trip second-up after an eye-catching Tamworth return, finishing just a head from the winner despite traffic interrupting his run home over 1200m.
Fitter for that outing, he draws gate 1 under Lee Magorrian with the opportunity to sit closer to the action and find a freer rhythm. ✨
🔹MAGIC STORM turns her trial promise into a debut win! 🏇🪄⛈️
Imposing in size, the lovely 3YO daughter of Cool Aza Beel has made good progress since joining the yard at Scone and took a great step forward in the 1000m Maiden @_TJC
Still learning and racing greenly, she got the job done from the widest draw, with plenty more to see as she gains experience. ✅
Three interesting runners to start the week at @_TJC today ✨

〰️ 1000m Open Hcp -R9- 〰️
The 5YO mare has compiled an excellent record of 8 wins from 16 starts, including 5 from 8 over 1000m, and tackles today off a two-month freshen-up.
Her latest prep featured victory in the Sir James Kirby Quality at Grafton before another Saturday-grade test at Randwick, and she now returns to Eagle Farm where she raced twice early in her career.
Ryan Houston rides from a low draw with just 52kg.
One for the stable at @_TJC today with 🔹TAIPAN LEGEND🔹 returning at a track where he has done some of his best racing. ✨

The 6YO resumes from a four-and-a-half month break with a strong Tamworth record of 3 wins, 2 seconds and a third from 7 starts.
A recent Scone trial has brought him forward and, while 1200m is short of his best trip, he has raced well fresh over this course and distance before.
