May be Trump will sign an executive order closer to the election giving enough relief to vapers to get their votes in November. If I were in the WH I'd be thinking about that. #wevapewevote
Seems to me Trump is a better bet for smokers and vapers than the Dems. I believe he has more compassion for us than the Dems will ever have.

Just finished an interview with 1 of the worlds' greatest scientists doctor @FarsalinosK on the subject of snus/nicotine and Covid-19. A Swedish huge scientific study involving 150k persons can share light on the big question that concerns the WHOLE world ie the Covid-19 virus.
Pulling down statues in America is the same as destroying ancient sites in Afganistan and the Middle East. The perpetrators are equally intolerant. Sooner or later they will be equally violent.
How many of the protesters had jobs or school before businesses and schools were closed? If they were in school and at work and their social gatherings were permitted they might not be in the streets burning things down.

It's clear that smoking is highly protective against covid, not ideal because inhaling smoke from any source is unhealthy. If nicotine patches or vaping perform as well they become the best theraputic available. Why do researchers seem to be going slow on clinical trials?
Nicotine patches are not habit forming. Otherwise they wouldn't be for sale
over-the-counter without a prescription.

Some more press about the nicotine covid hypothesis. Apparently the British are searching their gigantic NHS databases and getting results. US might do the same with Medicare data. They should search for high risk people prescribed patches for cognitive issues. #WeVapeWeVote
If Medicare pays for nicotine patches, when they are prescribed by a physician, they can easily determine if the patches are protective against covid by searching their records for care homes with outbreaks and patch users. Medicare insures everyone in the care homes, in the US.
In March NIDA (National Institute of Drug Addiction) issued a "Notice of Special Interest" asking for research proposals for funding to study the relationship between covid and cigarettes, marijuana or vaping nicotine. #wevapewevote

27% of Swedish adult men use snus (a smokeless tobacco product). Are they protected from the virus the same as smokers? A survey of that population might settle some issues sooner than the French study with nicotine patches.
