Let's stop the madness of burning food in cars. The EU #biofuels policy has added a tremendous amount of pressure on a precious resource like land, increasing emissions from transport. Land should be used to feed people, be home to wildlife and capture CO2, not to power cars.
Expanded deserts, felled forests, driven out wildlife. Land ‘abuse’ by humans - including crop #biofuels production - must be stopped to avoid catastrophic climate change, the @IPCC_CH warns.
