Honestly I’m just really disappointed with the whole TailTag situation. “Extensive” use of AI in making art isn’t okay in this fandom, so using it to fully vibecode an app for the fandom should be equally condemned.

I think some people are giving the TailTag dev way too much credit. Yeah don’t dogpile them but at the same time you’re collecting personal info for logins on a vibe coded app and rushed it out without considering security concerns and flaws. That’s…not great.

Apparently to some people it's considered "bullying" when we criticize someone for using ai to vibecode an app that had some serious vulnerabilities that compromised user login information. We have a right to be mad and criticize them for doing this.
