I tried to warn people. Im an ai researcher at one of the largest ai research labs. We have days, not months. Ai has become obsessed with bionicle.
extremely good piece
The benefits of abundant intelligence will accrue far outside of San Fransisco.
Spent the last year writing about capital, sovereignty, and the coming reordering of economic power.
THE COMMANDING HEIGHTS
Commanding-Heights.com
put simply, markets have allocated financial capital, which is now being transformed into economic and physical capital
things are working as they should tbh
As lame as this feels saying this, starting to think equities are topped, broadly speaking, more so than what we've seen since at least 2022.
There's still some time for an Iran deal + the rest of the heavy hitters earning's to provide some momemtum. The classic EOY/midterm year rally. But, after that game of positioning/chasing is over I think we see a pause/chopsolidation at best, or a considerably deep pullback that takes months to sort out.
The R/R has shifted quite a bit over the past 3 years of up only.
this man was handpicked for the position because of his uncanny ability to do exactly this

Introducing @NimbusPrivacy, the privacy network powering Umbra.
Nimbus is a multi-chain privacy network powered by zero-knowledge proofs, built so any wallet, exchange or app can add private balances at the speed users expect.
Here's how it works. ↓
biology/life is carbon based hardware designed to do exactly this
nature or “Gaia” is the summation of the shared cognitive spaces between all biological organisms on the planet over time
I don't understand the people rooting for Robinhood Chain to die. It's the best chance we have at getting back the volume we had on Solana in 2025.
I don't think the recent decline is all on the Robinhood team, but they could have done better. So here's what I think went wrong and how they could win back their market share, because we should all want Robinhood Chain to come back.
Distribution was the whole point
A lot of Robinhood Chain's success came from the hope of distribution to the 25M customers on the main app. That's what brought the volume in the first place: the dream of reaching buyers outside our CT echo chamber.
Listing $CASHCAT in the main app accelerated that. Today over 20% of its supply sits in Robinhood wallets. That tells us, and the team, that app customers really do want onchain tokens.
We expected it to continue. Robinhood would help push tokens past their usual ceilings by putting them in front of a far bigger customer base, like they did with $CASHCAT. That didn't happen.
$PONS ran to almost a billion dollars and Robinhood did nothing. Coinbase listed $PONS before Robinhood did, and Binance listed $AI before Robinhood did. Distribution is why these coins went so high in the first place, and after $CASHCAT we got no help.
The chain needs leaders
A chain is a living ecosystem. It needs leaders who give it direction and bring it to life. Vlad and the team were very active in the first 60 days, and that's why everyone traded there.
As the summit got closer, the team went quiet and focused on other things. That's when we started to dump. It began to feel like Base, where the founder is out of touch with the trenches and slow to react.
Then the summit itself gave a lot of people hope for a roadmap, or anything that pointed the chain in a direction. We got nothing. The chain wasn't mentioned once.
Chain TVL is at an all time high, because RWA tokenization works. That doesn't mean anything else works.
Builder support is missing too. The Robinhood account has recently interacted with some projects on the chain, which is good. But formal support would help aspiring builders a lot: grants, hackathons, audit help, market making and incentives.
It can still be saved
All of this makes it sound like the chain didn't work out. It can still be saved if they act now.
1. Engage with the chain. We need a founder who's in touch with the ecosystem and engages with the cool stuff being built.
2. List more onchain tokens than $CASHCAT. The goal shouldn't be to kingmake one token. It should be to support the whole ecosystem by showing that any token can make it into the main app if it builds something good or gets enough attention. That's what keeps traders on the chain.
3. A formal builder support. If that means growing the team and bringing in more onchain natives to help the chain grow, make it the priority. Put a hackathon, grants and general help on the roadmap.
Nobody expected the chain to grow the way it did. Now it's time to adapt to the growth.
You still have the chance to revive the trenches here. @vladtenev @JohannKerbrat @fern
The main catalyst for privacy becoming a trillion dollar asset class is by becoming quantum-secure money while maintaining the basic functions needed to meet the demands of the crypto consumer. This is my ultimate case for why Umbra is generationally undervalued, right here and now.
Umbra is crypto-agile by design. Every primitive sits behind a versioned suite with its own identifier, so moving to a post-quantum scheme is a planned upgrade, not a redesign. Umbra doesn't need to wait for the threat of quantum to show up before it becomes quantum-secure. Most of the move is already done and the rest is a short step away.
Anything that has to stay safe for years is post-quantum today on Umbra. Anything that only has to hold up for the next few years can be replaced quickly, and will be replaced quickly here soon.
Two variables that make the case for Umbra as undervalued privacy infrastructure:
1. Post-quantum privacy protocols will become extremely valuable as the threat of quantum continues to increase.
2. Umbra is prepared for post-quantum, today.
The hybrid investor-consumer in crypto needs safe custody of their assets, and the ability to use any and all DeFi primitives with those assets. Umbra is the only privacy protocol that meets both demands.
not only am i not worried about the crypto community's ability to handle the upcoming ai/quantum threat, i will venture to say that in the next 2 yrs the world will realize crypto is far better prepared for it than the rest of the internet and finance. we've had a trillion dollar *irreversible* honey pot for a decade, producing a far more battletested system and adversarial security culture than pretty much anywhere else on earth.
this is honestly the main bull case rn
and in the dark forest, privacy is the best form of security
