🚀 CaseFun 2.0 — a major platform update We’ve made extensive changes to CaseFun. With so much updated across the platform, we’re calling this chapter version 2.0. Game contracts, case creation, wallets, economics, upgrades, battles, NFTs, and the entire interface — here’s what’s changed 👇 🎨 New design and visual identity (complete overhaul) We’ve redesigned the homepage, case catalog, case creation, upgrades, battles, profiles, DEX, and NFT Market. We’ve also introduced a new logo, refreshed the visuals, and improved the mobile experience. Light, dark, and system themes are now available. Your preference is saved between visits. Your profile brings together your avatar, nickname, connected wallets and social accounts, inventory, statistics, and activity history. 🔗 Robinhood Chain and wallet-based interactions (complete overhaul) We’ve moved away from other blockchains and will focus exclusively on Robinhood Chain for the foreseeable future. CaseFun currently runs on Robinhood Chain Testnet using test ETH. We believe Robinhood Chain is the best fit for CaseFun. We see a growing community around memes, games, and fair gambling, and we believe this is where our project can find an audience that truly appreciates it. Authentication and gameplay are tied to your wallet. You sign your transactions; the server does not hold a key to perform gameplay transactions on your behalf. We’ve removed the previous internal game balance model. Telegram and X remain available as optional social connections for your profile. We’ve also fixed WalletConnect connectivity, signature requests, and session recovery. ⛓ From server-side processing to onchain confirmations (NEW) In the first version, most actions on CaseFun were processed on the server without a corresponding blockchain transaction. Now, gameplay operations run through smart contracts and receive onchain confirmation. Case openings, upgrades, and battles use public, verifiable drand randomness, with its BLS proof verified directly by the smart contract. This allows players to verify gameplay results using blockchain data. 📦 Creating your own token cases (major changes) Previously, creators could independently set both the token price and the case opening price. Those values could be inconsistent with the contents of the case, creating confusion for players. For example, a creator could set the opening price at $100 and the token price at $0.01, while the maximum possible drop was worth only $2–3. The opening price had no clear relationship to the value of the possible drops. Now, the opening price is calculated automatically using a strict formula. It accounts for the token price, every possible drop, the number of tokens in each drop, the exact drop probabilities, and the share allocated to liquidity. The creator defines the case parameters, and the system calculates a corresponding opening price. The probabilities entered by the creator remain unchanged. All prices are now denominated in ETH. The final opening price is rounded up to the nearest 0.000001 ETH and displayed before payment. Token case economics: Creator fee — 0–9% (the case creator chooses this percentage). Platform fee — 1%. Liquidity allocation — 90–99% (the remaining share after deducting the selected creator fee and the platform fee). Creating a token or NFT case through the website costs 0.0004 ETH + network gas. We’ve also added X, Telegram, and website links to the creation forms, helping players learn more about the project behind each case. 🎲 Updated case opening experience (minor changes) You can open between one and five cases at a time. We’ve refreshed the animation with smooth deceleration, coordinated result reveals, and Normal, Fast, and Instant modes. The two-transaction flow remains: payment for the gameplay action, followed by a separate transaction to confirm the result using the randomness proof. ⬆️ Upgrades with a selectable token amount (minor changes) You can now enter exactly how many tokens from your inventory you want to stake in an upgrade attempt. For example, you can stake 3.25 out of 10 tokens and keep the remaining 6.75. The Max button selects your entire available balance. You can choose a win probability between 5% and 75%. Before confirming, you can see your stake, your chance of winning, and the total number of tokens you would receive on success. ⚔️ Battles against players and the bot (minor changes) Build battles with up to 25 cases, including repeated selections of the same case. The winner receives both sets of drops. Results are compared using the token prices recorded when the corresponding cases were created. The lobby creator can: 1. Wait for another player. 2. Manually press “Call Bot.” We’ve kept the familiar “Call Bot” feature from the first version of CaseFun. One player’s choice of cases, number of openings, or entry amount may not suit other players. To avoid a long wait for someone with matching preferences, you can call the bot and start a battle with your chosen set of cases. The bot never joins automatically — the choice remains yours. Both sides use the same drop probabilities and verifiable randomness. 💧 Tokens, liquidity, and our own DEX (NEW) Token winnings are recorded in your inventory and can be used for upgrades before the case ends. Once the case expires, pending actions are settled, and finalization is complete, players can claim their earned tokens to their wallets. When a token case with allocated winnings is finalized, initial liquidity is created: tokens are issued for players, with a matching amount issued for the pool. Funds allocated to initial liquidity are deposited into the pool, and the resulting LP tokens are locked forever. Neither the case creator nor the platform can remove this lock or withdraw the initial liquidity by redeeming those LP tokens. This condition is fixed in the contract and cannot be changed to manipulate liquidity. CaseFun DEX supports ETH case token swaps, quotes based on pool reserves, and adjustable slippage tolerance. Tokens earned through gameplay become available for trading after they are issued and claimed to your wallet. 🖼 NFT cases and NFT Market (NEW) We’ve added a separate NFT case format: a dedicated ERC-721 collection, between 1 and 64 variants, images, rarities, and exact drop probabilities. You can open up to five cases at a time. After the case ends and is finalized, players can claim their earned NFTs. For NFT cases, 99% of opening revenue goes to the creator and 1% to the platform. Claimed NFTs can be traded on CaseFun NFT Market, with support for: - Fixed-price listings in ETH. - Purchases through your wallet. - Cancellation of your own listings. - Separate withdrawal of sale proceeds. For each sale, 99% goes to the seller and 1% to the platform. NFTs remain a separate mechanic and do not participate in token upgrades, battles, or the DEX. 🛠 Transaction recovery and numerous fixes (major changes) We’ve added recovery for already-paid openings and upgrades after a page reload or interrupted confirmation — without placing the stake again. We’ve improved handling for sped-up and replaced transactions, wallet changes, temporary RPC outages, and pending results. We’ve fixed profile statistics and history, reward accounting, promo codes, referrals, duplicate credits, and concurrent requests. Every case now has a direct link based on its contract address, along with options to copy the address and open it in the explorer.
