My employer officially approved my move to Florida. They benefit by eliminating the employer-paid payroll taxes that are Minnesota specific. I benefit by keeping more of my income due to no state income tax in FL. My husband benefits by being able to start a business in a state that actually wants small businesses to exist and thrive. My son benefits by having access to a better education, at least compared to our current school district. Who loses? Minnesota. Sorry, not sorry.

'LOST STATE:' A Somali daycare owner whose business has faced scrutiny over millions in state and federal funding defeated a Republican incumbent to win a Minnesota House seat. Abdi Daisane's Blooming Kids Child Care Center has been cited for over a dozen violations, and as sponsored for state funding by a nonprofit that the state claims "knowingly defrauded" Minnesota to the tune of $18 million. For the left, hurting the rich has always been much more important than helping the poor.

“Why couldn’t Republican statewide candidates make up for the fact that Trump accomplished absolutely nothing he set out to do, as illustrated by the rout that occurred in every single state except for Florida? They owe us an explanation.” You didn’t used to be this stupid, Mike
🗳️ Take: The GOP consulting class pre-primary message was simple: nominate Demuth and Tafoya, and you'll stop a DFL trifecta. The DFL got its trifecta anyway. They failed the one mission they sold to GOP primary voters. They need to explain why.

Look, Republicans got blown out because of the administration’s miserable handling of every issue, including tariffs. They had a mandate; they had a coalition. What they wanted to do was not just popular, but necessary. But they couldn’t follow through. Immigration enforcement is popular, a bunch of cruel performative policies that got people killed are not. The war in Iran might have been popular, but no one in the administration could decide if they wanted to actually fight it. They renamed the Department of War and then immediately shifted its purpose to dumb meetings about testosterone. Americans will tolerate higher prices for a while but they expected sympathy, not officials denying rising costs and telling people to eat tortillas and chicken. Demographic shifts are happening, but most Americans aren’t afraid of their neighbors. The vast majority of Americans think open racism is gross and wrong. When you get a mandate, you have to maintain your coalition. Instead, they went full reality show. They blew it.
Republicans got blown out because of the tariffs. People will make a million other excuses, but it was, in fact, the tariffs.

Unfortunately, Minnesota voters get to see just how “moderate” Klobuchar is with a DFL trifecta.

Holy crap
SUBMITTED: Poll worker wears “Problem Solved” T-shirt with red splatter near the collar resembling blood. Speculation is that it celebrates the assassination of Charlie Kirk or other assassinations; the Halloween design has been controversial for years. The picture was taken Saturday at the Rogers fire station community room. In a statement to @AlphaNews, Hennepin County confirmed it forwarded the concern to the city clerk in Rogers for review. “Hennepin County expects polling places to be welcoming and free from intimidation, harassment, or disruption for voters and election workers alike… Anyone with concerns about conduct at a polling place should bring them to the attention of the head election judge or city clerk's office,” the statement reads.
