I saw my favorite band @Caspian in July. My mental health was a hot mess, but their music broke through the haze.
This is my all-time favorite musician, Phil Jamieson, a monument to what rock & roll can be when divorced from ego and excess. Pure sweat, pure intensity, pure joy.

In January 2020 @Caspian released On Circles, a magnificent album that quickly came to define — and help me endure — the quarantine era.
Today we finally mustered up a turntable set-up that allowed us to hear the deluxe vinyl.
And damn, you guys.
The 3 extra tracks are SICK.

I present to you video footage of @Caspian punching a hole clear through the sun.
This was at @SaintVitusBar in Brooklyn, and it was one of the sweatiest, alive-est, most cathartic nights of my life. The song is “Arcs of Command,” a banger to end all bangers.
Drink deep. 🤘

Hugs, hi fives and rowdy rock and roll. Biggest ones to @caspian for sharing your music. Treat every show as a gift. #caspian #livemusic

Still a #fridayrumpus in the States: I saw @caspian at the end of last year. Post-rock shows have always felt like “home” and this was a much-needed boost after many months of grief. The entire bill was 🤯. A perfect 5 hours. 10/10.

Cultural submergence in Gent, Belgium; exactly what I needed. An amazing long weekend with my @caspian soul family whose shows always leave someone in tears (no joke). Power & emotion beyond measure directly translated into the music they make. Until next time my friends 🙏❤️ Thx

I lovingly forged a monument to @Caspian, my favorite band on the planet. And to the world-building, world-changing power of music.
So powerful that not even Ticketmaster can ruin it.
