🚨WHAT IF WE HAD....
"THE GAMERS' CODE OF CONDUCT"
Big corpos gave us their terms..... But have we ever given them ours?
A Public Notice to Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, and Every Corporation That Forgot Who Pays the Bills.
Dear Corporate Executives,
For years, you've buried gamers under Terms of Service, Codes of Conduct, and enough fine print to wallpaper your boardrooms.
You've dictated what we can say, do, and under what circumstances you can revoke access to products we've paid for.
How thoughtful. Now it's our turn.
ARTICLE 1-RESPECT YOUR CUSTOMERS.
Gamers are not walking credit cards or recurring revenue opportunities.
We understand this may require cultural adjustments.
ARTICLE 2-PURCHASES ARE NOT RENTALS.
If you advertise a purchase, provide meaningful, lasting access. If it's a revocable license, say so before taking payment.
Transparency. What a revolutionary concept.
ARTICLE 3-CHOICE IS NOT A SECURITY VULNERABILITY.
Physical games, digital downloads, and competing retailers should coexist.
Removing choices and calling it innovation doesn't make it innovative.
ARTICLE 4-CORPORATE ACCOUNTABILITY.
Make a mistake? Admit it, explain it, and fix it.👈
Blaming customers or hiding behind automated responses won't cut it.
ARTICLE 5-NO UNAUTHORIZED WALLET EXTRACTIONS.
Microtransactions, subscriptions, battle passes, and DLC must be presented honestly.
A $70-100 game shouldn't feel like admission to a shopping mall.
ARTICLE 6-PRESERVE GAMING HISTORY.
Consumers deserve reasonable ways to preserve legally acquired games when official support ends.
Gaming history belongs to future generations, not a corporate vault awaiting another remaster.
ARTICLE 7-SPEAK PLAIN ENGLISH.
Enough "strategic realignment" and "enhancing consumer experiences."
Raising prices? Say so. Removing features? Admit it.
We're gamers, not idiots.
ARTICLE 8-LOYALTY IS EARNED.
Twenty years of supporting your company doesn't obligate us to finance your next twenty bad decisions.
Brand loyalty isn't a lifetime financial commitment.
ARTICLE 9-CORPORATE PENALTIES.
First offense: Public criticism and demands for correction.
Second offense: Canceled subscriptions and withheld purchases.
Repeated offenses: Permanent removal from our shopping lists.
Unlike some enforcement systems, we'll explain why.
ARTICLE 10-FINAL AUTHORITY.
Corporations may appeal through meaningful improvements.
Scripted apologies and promises to "do better" without action will be rejected.
Consumers reserve the right to take their money elsewhere.
FINAL NOTICE TO CORPORATE LEADERSHIP
You have your Code of Conduct.
Now we have ours.
You can suspend our accounts, but you cannot force us to open our wallets.
You control your platforms.
"WE CONTROL OUR PURCHASING DECISIONS."
And no Terms of Service can take that power away.
Sincerely,
The Gamers Who Actually Pay the Bills.
What would you add as Article 11?

Before I post the video tomorrow, no AI was used. It’s a technique called ‘photogrammetry’ in which you essentially scan objects and environments under carful lighting conditions. This is how I was able to get Lucy to interact with the plush.
The plush goes live at 3PM EST!

Nintendo should've explained this better but I'm surprised people don't already know this by now:
With the Switch 1, Nintendo allowed developers multiple GB card sizes for developers to put their games on. Keep in mind, the higher the card size, the more expensive it'd be to physically produce the game.
With the Switch 2, Nintendo, for whatever reason, only allowed developers two options: 1 GB cards, or 32 GB cards. Thats it. So if you have a game that's 5 GB large, there is no option for you to choose other than the 32 GBs card if you want your game to have a physical release on the Switch 2.
This right here is why developers are choosing to opt for Game Key cards on the Switch 2 and releasing their full games on Switch 1 cards. Its because most developers aren't going to waste money putting their game on a 32 GB card when their own game isn't even close to being that big in size. That's why they're forced to go the Game Key Card route for Switch 2 games because its much cheaper to produce.
If you want to see the end of Game Key cards(like I do), take your frustrations to the right people: Nintendo. Because if they won't give these developers more GB card options to put their game on, this situation is not going to change.
Wait 😂
Tales of Eternia Remastered on the ORIGINAL Switch has the whole game on the cartridge.
Buy the Switch 2 version?
Game-Key Card. You have to download it.
The game is like 5GB.
So the older console literally gets the better physical copy.
Make this shit make sense.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Nintendo Switch 2 game cards were initially limited to 64 GB full cartridges or Game-Key Cards, not the claimed 1 GB or 32 GB options; smaller sizes like 32 GB were confirmed later.

To feel is to be dumb, not knowing something will give one happiness, sadness, fear, ect.. Not knowing is the true form of being alive.
If people stop paying, the prices will stay the same. Only reason the price of anything goes up is cause people will pay. People don't realize that we are the reason why they are going up. Nobody questions prices anymore which has became a huge problem. Haggling is key.
If people want prices to go down stop paying for the junk. After awhile the price will go down or they will try adding more to get people to buy it. Only reason the prices are so high is cause people keeps buying at there asking price. Think of buying stuff like you would a car.
