GameRarity 🎮✨ This is a special definition of rarity to me. In uPEGDuel, the traits of uPEGs are gamified into ATK / DEF / HP / CRIT / Element and action sequences. It’s real utility built right on top of unipeg on-chain data. For example: there are ONLY 2 uPEGs with an ATK3 + CRIT5 + DEF3 combo (and both are WATER element). That's ultra-rare. 💧 Without gamification, these unique trait combos wouldn't have a chance to shine or show how special they really are. There is so much more to discover in the @uPEGDuel ecosystem. microPEG is innovative as a derivative collection within the OG collection. However, there are subtle details in the design of these tiny 12x12 companions that may not be immediately noticeable. The 7 Traits In Unipeg, there are seven traits that distinguish each piece: hair, horn, wing, tail, accessory, body, and leg. These traits are randomly generated, with five of them being optional. The traits are layered, allowing for visual depth in the unicorn's appearance. In certain circumstances, special rules must be applied to ensure that a trait is not overshadowed; for example, fluffy hair may obscure some horns, so in such cases, the depth of the horn should take precedence over the hair trait. How Did I Know These? On upeglens.art, I created a Dreamer feature for the community to design their dream uPEG by specifying traits and colors. To achieve this, I reverse-engineered over 6,000 uPEGs to understand how traits are rendered. Even with hours of AI assistance (and plenty of tokens 😂), I still could not achieve 100% accuracy compared to the official art recipe. This indicates that many traits were manually organized as special cases to provide the perfect aesthetic for the community. 12 x 12? Even Harder... Take a close look; the sneak peek shows that microPEG also has seven traits. Some traits need to be displayed with just one pixel, yet you can still interpret what the trait is and feel that it appears natural. Such an intricate design and hard work behind are truly impressive to me. Masterpiece. Micro, but Significant.
