Good morning, my fellow SBA!☀️
TATS HAS FINALLY BEEN CALLED UP TO THE JAPAN NATIONAL TEAM!!!🇯🇵😭
So well deserved! What a proud moment for the man we all love!!🩵🩵
#PUSB
Every time Tats has put in a great performance, I've had my fellow SBA coming at me with almost indignant questions like, "Why on earth isn't Tats getting called up🇯🇵😡?!"
Maybe I won't have to field so many of those questions this time...🤣
Fingers crossed, Tats! 🇯🇵🩵 #PUSB
Moriyasu Hajime, manager of the Samurai Blue, specially singled out and highly praised Sakamoto Tatsuhiro of Premier League club Coventry City, who scored his first Premier League goal in the match against Sunderland.
“The regular members and the veterans are also playing well, and the young, less experienced players are producing results and making their presence felt. Sakamoto is also scoring.”
Will the 30-year-old former Cerezo Osaka winger earn a return to the national team for the November A-matches, five years after his last appearance in 2021?

I hope the club takes appropriate action and the young lad’s family help him understand how hurtful his actions were. I don’t want hatred directed towards him, so please please don't, just for him to learn from this. (Pt2)

❤️ My beautiful boy deserves to be remembered with love, not hate.
Yesterday, a Coventry fan used a photograph of Bradley to taunt Sunderland supporters. As his mam, this breaks my heart. Behind that photo is a little boy who was loved beyond measure (pt 1)
Through Coventry City, I've learned about the meaning and importance of this special tradition. Showing my respect from Japan🩵🌺
BTW, I love this Remembrance shirt💯😊

I’ve recently been diagnosed with cerebellar ataxia, and honestly, I’m shocked, upset and still trying to process it all. It’s scary not knowing what the future holds. One thing I really don’t want this to affect is watching my beloved Coventry City. 💙🩵⚽️ #PUSB
📚🩵 Coventry families can enjoy FREE books, face painting, a silent disco, storytelling and loads of creative activities at a special event tomorrow!
And there's no need to spend a fortune keeping the children entertained this half-term.
Coventry Libraries is bringing its Big Book Bash to Coventry Transport Museum on Wednesday, with a whole day of activities designed to encourage children to discover the joy of reading.
There'll be free books to take home, face painting, badge making, bingo, storytelling sessions and a silent disco.
Children can also explore themed activity tables covering everything from dinosaurs and comics to music and fictional characters.
But there's something particularly special about the authors taking part.
Coventry children's author Aaron Ashmore, who has donated more than 12,000 books to local schools, will be sharing stories inspired by our city's history.
His books include Lady Godiva's Birthday Suit, Coventry: The Phoenix City and the Time Travelling Coventry Taxi series.
Author Maria Motúnráyọ̀ Adébísí will also be leading a workshop exploring African mythology, including a glow-in-the-dark experience inspired by her writing.
📅 Wednesday 28 October 2026

Some workshops require advance booking, and a couple are already fully booked. Normal admission charges apply if families also want to explore the museum's main exhibitions.
🩵 It's lovely seeing Coventry's libraries putting on something this substantial for families during half-term, particularly when so many activities for children can become expensive.
It's matchday and feeling Japanese today!🇯🇵⛩️🩵

Gus Hamer playing for the U21s to build up his match fitness. Now THAT is a professional footballer setting the standard. Nobody's forcing him to do it. He's doing it for himself and the team. We have plenty of examples of what a true professional looks like, don't we?🩵👏 #PUSB
Everyone's entitled to their own opinion. Some got upset. Some did't.
Fair enough💯
I fondly remember his time with us🩵 #PUSB
I had already planned my first goal back I was kissing the badge of this club who has supported me and my family through the darkest days of my career over the past 18 months. I absolutely adore and love Coventry City. All my close friends and family know that. I’m a fan and always will be and I will 100% apologise to anyone who thought the timing was bad as my first goal back just happened to be against my hometown club. Good luck to Frank and the boys for the rest of the season. PUSB🩵
Went to watch Tats’ former club Cerezo Osaka🌸 in most Cerezo-ish Cov shirt🩷
Brilliant fightback to come from behind TWICE with 10 men!👏
Then bumped into two lads from Coventry outside the stadium after the game!!😍😍
What a way to finish the day!🩵😂 #PUSB
Met in Stirling, married in Japan, shopping for Scotland in Osaka… and somehow but proudly ended up in @SBAScotland_ !🤣🏴🩵
