Just witnessed the most creative way a husband avoided admitting his wife was right
I was grabbing breakfast at a little restaurant when I overheard an elderly couple debating which actor starred in some movie years ago. The husband was absolutely convinced it was Harrison Ford. His wife disagreed, pulled up the movie on her phone, and turned the screen toward him.
He stared at it for a few seconds, took another bite of his pancakes, and said, completely seriously, "Well, whoever made that website clearly wasn't there when I watched it."
His wife didn't even look surprised. She just went back to eating like she'd been dealing with this exact nonsense for the past 40 years.
I had to pretend I was coughing to hide how hard I was laughing.
