I'm 99% certain that oceanids came from hydro sov's death because back in 4.X we already got a history note that said Egeria oceanid creation myth is fake, and the truth is "lizards bones dissolved into mud, from which swans emerged" + thunder manifestations came from electro sov

I wonder what "usurpation" really means here since it is a word most commonly used by the dragons to refer to HP/shades/archons. However, since its said by Esoptron, which is also monitoring the "civilization reset" process, it feels more like a trial from HP to humanity here?

CN version of "Trial of Usurpation" as 僭续(usurpation/succession) 试炼(trial) reminded me that CN Xbalanque's intro for Neuvi is "there will come a day when they return, and only then will the 真正(real) 试炼(trial) begin". I guess 7.2/7.3 is not even the "real trial" yet?
