I've been watching basketball for a long time and I can honestly say that the only reason teams can ever hang with BYU is when the refs bail them out 😜

Happy birthday to my older brother Dennis, he would have been 56 years old today, he passed away in 2018. I just realized now too that I'm older! His birthday is my half birthday so I had a long standing tradition of inviting him for cake and ice cream to celebrate my half birthday.

Hope and change. I'm really looking forward to the change and new direction coming this Wednesday. It's a much needed relief for this family. The start of our family vacation can't get here soon enough. Here we come Caribbean!

Here are some tips I've learned to help manage the rivalry war week. Remember some people who God loves love the Utes. So do I. No Ute fans opinion or analysis of BYU means anything to me. They may be a great person and have an incredible football IQ, but like all people they have their biases and I frankly don't care what they think about BYU or Bear or whatever. Ute fans should absolutely feel the same way about BYU fans opinions and analysis of their team. The people who claim the loudest that they are the most impartial have always been the least. I want BYU to win every game. Life goes on regardless of what happens on the field and a happy life is much more fun than a bitter, hate filled life.

It's a personal choice for sure, but I think we will find, and some of us have already discovered, that anonymous online is just as damaging if not more so than smoking or gambling.
