Q3 2026 highlights:

it handled about 90% of the work and i did 10% in premiere. honestly the hardest part was just explaining what I wanted in an actionable way.
a few things that worked really well:
1. be precise
saying "make cuts to the beat" or "the roadster takes off right when she sings FLYING" gets you better results than "find the coolest clips of the roadster flying"
2. run a team of bots
one bot manages the others, and each one takes a different part of the edit
3. pass the premiere project back and forth
ask for it, make your tweaks, then hand it back to bot and it keeps editing from your version. it feels like working with a teammate

grokbot is the first piece of ai that’s taken my money, info, calendar, context, etc etc. and fully autonomously gone out and won net new business and made me genuine money that i didn’t know was on the table.
the mixture of opus and the power of the grokbot harness is truly incredible. it’s capable of so much more than generic claude or cc. magical.

One of the most compelling parts about working at an ElonCo was the agility to pivot to whatever the most important problem was.
One day I said: I wasn’t hired to go after spam, but a tsunami is coming and I’m going to drop everything to focus on that.
The org is so flat and agile that your title is basically meaningless. Anyone can sound the alarm about a problem and solve it themselves—or rally the team to join them.
This is how startups work but it’s very hard to make it work in a larger company.

SpaceX is making money hand over fist with Starlink.
So you take that model and say, we make lots of money transmitting data from your content delivery service like Netflix, but instead let's transmit tokens of some hyper intelligent model.
Once you've got the hardware flying, what is the comparative value between your average Starlink bit versus your average Starmind bit? It's probably at least 1,000 times more valuable. It's not even in the same category.
It will be interesting to see if economic demand for intelligence in the form of AI tokens can saturate. I suspect not."
