I brought the torch outside to watch my dog and it looks magical out there. It's all misty.

Such bullies! going after a small vegan, UK business when there are loads of Toblerone shaped chocolate bars out there 😑 off to buy a load because they're delicious.

Interview processes are crazy. You can have years of experience, great references and a proven track record but one coding interview can make or break it. πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ Surely it's time these interviews caught up with the AI world? I haven't hand-coded in ages.
Got turned down for a DevRel job. I didn't meet the technical bar on the coding challenge. Now I feel stupid. I've won developer awards and worked in DevRel for over 8 years, yet in interviews I come across as not technical, and I don't know how to fix that. Im so annoyed with myself.

I have just been sent this absolutely wonderful video of Ajax, who is now able to TALK. Here he is saying hello. I’m a very proud mother πŸ₯°

I really wish that I didn't hate cinnamon because it makes me super awkward at autumn and winter events 😬

Actually, different salaries should only affect how luxurious your life is, not your food quality or ability to afford rent. If you work 40 hours at any job, your income should be enough to live in the town you work in. Thinking otherwise is an abysmal indicator of your humanity

Why are people so miserable? I'm an introvert but if someone wants to celebrate their birthday let them. 30th feels like a big milestone to many. Also, you can just say no as an adult.
My friend wants to plan a couples, no-kids weekend getaway, splitting the cost of a large AirBNB, in January for her 30th birthday. I really do not love this idea (husband is mortified), neither to spend the money nor to get someone to take the toddler for 3 days. It would be a 2.5 hour drive away for us, too, so it’s not like we’re close if something happens. I haven’t been away from him for even 1 night yet and he still just seems so young! It would be very hard to leave him for that long. Am I just a party pooper who needs to get over it? Genuine question. Like I actually need advice here guys

Ordered our pet medication from an online pharmacy for the first time. Even with paying £21 for our prescription from the vet we still saved £50. So annoying how much they over charge 😬

I find this whole "we suffered, so should you" attitude so weird. I want life to get better for others but many older generations don't seem to even want their kids to have a better life.

Just listened to a woman in her 50s telling people they should go back to the office and pay for extra childcare even if they can't afford it, just because she had to πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

The main breadwinner here means earning more than 60% of the couple’s combined income. 16% of women are the breadwinner (from 5%) and 29% egalitarian...
The husband is the main breadwinner in about 55% of marriages, down from 85% in 1972, per PEW.
