A GM friend asked if we had a guide for app.chessever.com because he found it too complex. The web app is still under construction.
I asked, “Why? You wouldn’t read it anyway.”
He said “True!” 😁
We actually have a Learn page for the mobile app, but very few people check it. So I’m trying to make short, interesting videos to show what ChessEver can do. I’m not sure how successful I’ve been 😅
Here’s one on missed-chance reports 👇
If you create chess content and would like to help spread the word, we have a referral program. Let me know if you’re interested! 🙏

Black to play. ♟️
I was exploring GM Guliev’s collection on exchange sacrifices in the opening and found one of my own games!
While reviewing it with my student, we came across an interesting sideline. My student suggested the natural and most-played move, 1...Nh5, with the idea of bringing the queen into play. However, it gives up the advantage.
Can you see why and find the best continuation? It’s quite complex, and the collection includes a beautiful correspondence game illustrating it.
