Our campaigners were invited by Mark Jenkinson MP to visit Parliament last week.
The team met the minister of care and mental health, Gillian Keegan MP-sharing case studies of local children that have been seriously let down by Cumbria’s mental health services.
A step in the right direction, it’s the hope that visits like these will not only ensure engagement from the government - but also encourage people who have suffered to speak out.
