9 bookstores. 9 hours. 9 different reasons people picked up my book.
Some came looking for it. Some found it on a table. Some bought it because a bookseller pushed it into their hands.
Same book. Three journeys.
That's the whole game in one Delhi afternoon.
Brief Case: 21 Sept.
Indian parents never said "I love you." They said: "Did you eat?" "Wear a jacket." "Call when you reach." That was the whole sentence. Learn to translate and you’ll know what they were trying to tell you.
The Indian middle class raises children by the following syllabus: science first, commerce if nothing else, arts as a last resort, and your passion after retirement, once you've recovered from the science.
The Indian wedding has evolved to the point where the two people getting married are the least important production decision of the evening.
Every generation discovers the same truths at roughly the same age and insists on discovering them personally rather than believing anyone who already has. This is not stupidity.
This is what being human costs.
"You are the future" is not a compliment. It's a postponement.
It means: not yet. Your turn comes after ours.
I spent my 17th TEDx arguing that young people aren't catalysts because they have more energy. Every generation had energy.
They're catalysts because they haven't paid for the current system yet.
No sunk cost. Nothing invested in how things are done now. They can change their mind for free, and almost nobody else in the building can.
In 1824 a fifteen-year-old blind boy in Paris took a military code for passing messages in the dark and halved it. Twelve dots became six.
His fellow students adopted it instantly. They had nothing invested in the old method except the misery of using it.
The institution banned it.
The school that taught blind children to read officially adopted the system a blind child built for them in 1854. Thirty years later. Two years after Louis Braille was dead.
Ask who, inside that building, had the most invested in the old way.
It wasn't the students.

And once again it was BRIEFCASE’s meet and greet at Boojee’s Fort @chiefsanjay
Sanjay sir, you rock
It’s the institution’s responsibility to inspire and retain that confidence. Don’t forget we had the confidence for long, look within & you’ll know what destroyed that confidence in all institutions - the lack of spine and personal gratification!
Nobody teaches you how to spend
money well.
Financial literacy starts and ends
at making it.
The real education begins after
that, and there is no course.

We are building tools so powerful that the most important skill of the next decade will be knowing when not to use them.
IQ gets you admission.
EQ gets you through the first year.
Character gets you through
everything after that.
Schools teach the first.
Life teaches the others slowly and
without prior notice.
In 1987, as a 23 year old setting up an ad agency, I struggled to get clients to listen.
In 2026, I struggle to get people to stop scrolling. 😄
40+ years in marketing taught me one thing:
Everything has changed. Except human we are marketing to.
Grateful to Hello Entrepreneurs for featuring my journey.
Still learning. Every day.
Pune, some brands earn trust while others lose it overnight.
Brief Case unpacks forty of those stories. Signing copies this weekend:

Book 87 of 2026 : Brief Case by @chiefsanjay
This book has educated me a lot.
Thank you, Sanjay Sir
Book 86 of 2026:
Swan Song Diana, my sister by Charles Spencer @cspencer1508 @dianahist0ry
Loved it. Can never get enough of you, Diana❤️ and I’ll forever keep on reading on you.
The people who love you most will
ask the least from you. Keep this in
mind when you're deciding how
you distribute your time and
attention.

Civilian protests across India have been increasingly met with police intervention — and allegations of excessive force have taken center stage. Reuters examined the guidelines and recent protest data to explore where these possible excesses against demonstrators are happening and why reut.rs/47jBORq
The Goa airport had a surprise in store for me, unplanned, impromptu book signing at the Relay store. Small doses of happiness 🙌🏻
I quite love @OfficialStarAir great aircrafts, large well-cushioned comfortable seats, pretty personalised feeling. The only problem? Very few routes :(
Wish you luck for rapid growth so that I can board you more often rather than this boring behemoths.
