Newly-released bodycam footage shows Tennessee National Guard members pointing their guns at 20-year-old Tyrin Johnson as he lay dying in Memphis in July. Authorities say soldiers shot him as he came at them with a gun, but an autopsy found he was shot in the back.

okay Monday morning, US election week. Let me get this straight: - grocery stores throughout Europe have had their fridges turned up to 100+ degrees by unknown hackers - aka exactly what a sophisticated actor would do if they wanted to disrupt US east coast food supply next week - US military bases already had essentially the same thing happen last week - founder of Shopify tweets there’s a TCP vulnerability that basically makes every server on earth that’s not a managed service completely remotely controllable - a nontechnical 26 year old hacked several major banks using only chatbots - billions of dollars successfully stolen from different exchanges in several countries, notably most of that was $6.3b from binance in just 20 minutes. They’re “fine” per the CEO. Okay lol - random civilian private jet crashes a few miles outside trumps house yesterday, right as Tucker Carlson of all people warns us Trump might be considering using nukes - US Senator who warned about the same thing recently “had a stroke” over the weekend, alright sure - bibi lost his majority so his only chance to stay in power is for a new war to begin - Poland currently in constitutional crisis/coup, both it and Lithuania just sent troops to the border w/Russia. NATO did the same in Latvia. Turkey moved fighter jets to the border too. - Germany’s leaders phones all hacked - openai and Anthropic are going to release gpt-6.2 and fable 5.5 after elections this week because somehow more capable models will help? lol no - many streets in downtown DC is shut down right now for a speech today outside the Lincoln memorial? - DOJ trying to pull ballots in California - documentaries openly critical of Elon & Zuck are BOTH pulled from theaters in just weeks because nobody knew about them and went to saw them. Not suspicious at all. - oh and Russia and Ukraine both had their nuclear alerts hacked and sent false alerts of “impending air raids, chemical, and nuclear attacks” what could go wrong! Unbelievably, there is not a hint of any of this on my Facebook, insta, tiktok, reddit, threads, blue sky, or LinkedIn feeds. You can ask any ai except chat about it and it goes, no yeah that’s about right. ChatGPT goes “you’re not allowed to ask about this” I can’t decide if that’s a very good thing and we finally figured out the emotional and psychological dangers of social media algorithms (except elon 🙄) OR it’s actually really bad people are voting in the dark What a strange moment in time. And I’m supposed to send emails today?! For sure

Has anyone postulated that maybe she’s playing 5D chess and has valiantly thrown herself on the sword to try and toxic pill Rogers? For a fat check of course, one that we may or may not ever seen filed.
Haley Stevens goes on an UNHINGED rant about Hasan Piker and Cenk on CNN, and even Anderson Cooper is confused💀 Anderson asks a simple follow-up question, and she has no idea how to respond. I have never seen a meltdown like this before😭

🚨Innocent Healthcare Worker Held at Gunpoint in Houston Case of Mistaken Identity A medical professional was brutally targeted, misidentified, slammed onto concrete, and held at gunpoint by Houston Police officers only to be released without a single word of apology. They were looking for a suspect related to a car theft. They admitted they misidentified her. She has since been treated at the hospital and is actively seeking legal representation and community assistance. The physical and emotional trauma inflicted by this unwarranted brutality has deeply impacted both her and her family. No one should ever have to fear for their safety while commuting to serve others. We need justice, accountability, and answers. #HoustonPolice #PoliceAccountability #JusticeForHer #MedicalWorkers #CivilRights #HPD 🎥Sedrick Baldwin

The steroid'd out Pig is on top of The Man and so he can't get off of the cop. So his solution is to try to kill him by punching him in the brain stem. Thank God, other people intervened.
I don’t know what this kid did or supposedly did, but this is nuts, I found this hard to watch smh look how massive the officer is.

An ICE agent intentionally ran over a man. The agent gets out as the victim wails in agony and casually flips the man's injured leg out of his way so he can handcuff him. Agent admits on camera that he hit him, but ICE still publicly lied, blaming the man

To have their claims dismissed and then the courts hand the wealthy developer a $3 million payout just proves that the government does not care if you live or die. Just because it’s not illegal doesn’t mean it’s justified or permissible.
A crooked developers plan to steal all the homes in an HOA. The staggering increase of monthly HOA fees from $158 to $2,500 refers to the ongoing financial crisis hitting residents of the Magnolia Cove subdivision in Sherrills Ford, North Carolina. The developer-controlled Homeowners Association (HOA) officially voted to lock in the $2,500 monthly fee starting January 1, 2027, after initially threatening an even higher $7,500 monthly hike ($90,000 a year). The Backstory Behind the Hike The astronomical $30,000-a-year fee is the result of a bitter legal war between homeowners and the neighborhood's developer, Aaron Guess (Story Homes LLC), who effectively controls the HOA board because he still owns the majority of the lots in the 80-home subdivision. • The Original Dispute: In 2022, residents complained that promised amenities—including a community pool and basic neighborhood mailboxes—were never delivered, requiring them to drive 8 miles round-trip just to get mail. • The Lawsuits: More than 20 homeowners sued the HOA over financial transparency and unfulfilled promises. Those claims were eventually dismissed. • The Counter-Suits & Judgments: The HOA countersued the homeowners for defamation and libel, ultimately winning a massive $3 million judgment against certain owners. • The Dues Explode: The HOA board claims the skyrocketing fees are strictly to cover their massive legal bills and collection costs from a majority of lots that have fallen behind on payments. The Legal Catch for Homeowners The North Carolina Attorney General’s Office confirmed that state law places no cap on how high an HOA can raise its fees, meaning the board is entirely within its legal rights as long as it follows its own internal governing bylaws. Because the developer controls the majority votes via unsold lots, residents cannot easily vote out the board. Left with zero state protections, many of the neighborhood's residents now face imminent foreclosure or bankruptcy, as they can neither afford the $2,500 monthly payments nor sell their homes with such high fees attached.

Something is going horribly wrong in the Senate race in Michigan. And I am going to keep calling it out. On the one hand, the Republicans are conducting a campaign of blatant anti-Muslim fear mongering. Mike Rogers, Donald Trump and the rest of the GOP need to knock it off. Mike needs to personally and repeatedly denounce hate against Muslims. But now, at the same time, we have TWO ads from the Democratic side that ALSO traffic in hate and intolerance — causing alarm for some Black and Jewish voters. Seriously— WTF ???? The first ad was from Rebellion PAC (NOT the official Abdul El-Sayyed campaign). It suggested that Americans can’t buy groceries because the USA sends so much money to Israel. That is a lie. The USA spends less than 00.1 percent of our federal budget on support for Israel. But this ad pretends bananas cost too much because the Jewish state is bleeding us dry. TOTALLY nuts. And yet — this kind of thinking has always put Jewish lives at risk. Blaming Jews for everyone’s economic problems has a long, bloody history. Abdul did try to separate himself from the ad. He accurately noted that his campaign didn’t produce it. But the problem is: if you listen, Abdul actually NEVER DENOUNCED the CONTENT of the ad. He never said, “This ad is wrong.” He just said, “Hey, it wasn’t me.” 😬😬😬 That ad — and Abdul’s refusal to forthrightly denounce it — is scaring some Jewish Democrats in Michigan, who now are more reluctant to vote for him. In other words, that one ad alone is jeopardizing our party’s shot at taking back the U.S. Senate. BUT IT GETS WORSE! Then Abdul’s formal, official campaign put out its OWN ad — which features none other than the vile and contemptible Tucker Carlson (!!!). As you know, Tucker Carlson is a rabid, anti-Black bigot who also traffics in anti-Jewish stereotypes. He is anathema to most Black people and most Jews. No Democrat should ever celebrate the words of a white nationalist who actively undermines the safety of Black people and Jewish people. Moreover, given the importance of Black and Jewish Democrats to our victory in Michigan, the decision to include Tucker Carlson in any Democratic ad there is truly baffling. Why am I speaking out about this now? Because I want Democrats to build a winning coalition — now and into the future. Chasing off any Black or Jewish voters is a path to defeat — both in the short term and the long term. As proud Democrats, it can feel uncomfortable or risky to speak against intolerance in our own party, especially just days before a national election. It would be easier for us to let this stuff slide, shut up and close ranks. But that would make us hypocrites. For 10 years, we Democrats have watched with dismay and disgust as Republicans (who know better) have refused to challenge ANY bad ideas or bad actions in their own ranks. As a result, their party curdled into a cult — one that is now wrecking the country AND falling apart. As Democrats, we should not make the same mistake. Anti-Muslim hate is wrong. Period. Anti-Jewish hate is wrong. Period. Tucker Carlson’s white nationalism is wrong. Period. All candidates in Michigan need to say that clearly— and then pull down/denounce any ads that normalize hate or elevate hate mongers.

Mary Phuong of DeepMind on AI loss of control risk. "The last 2 minutes gave me chills. A significant amount of people saying that AI companies are paying people to spread fear about these agents. I have never really felt like [loss of control] was an actual thing to care about. But seeing Mary and how her face trembles, made me reconsider my stand. She's either a Hollywood-level skilled actress, one of the best, or we should be scared. For real." "Seems like Mary is already aware of more than she can admit and it haunts her..."
