While camping out in social isolation, a robot poured me a libation. The maker spirit has no dehydration, only creation, imagination. I raise a glass to temptation, welcome to my inebriation station. - Me, just now, thinking of you. A work in progress ❤️

So many things I need here from my travelling days. “The Robot Arms” sign is probably next. Cheap Australian knock off is the best I can do on the wrong side of the world 💪🤖

That moment you’re trying to figure out why Norway and Hungary are trying to get in touch with you so you reinstall Twitter (to find it’s actually called X now WTF) and realise oh hey I get it now - #cccamp23 (only second to EMF) is on! So cool love you guys!!! ❤️🙌

I have a measuring stick for when I’ve released good code to the general masses. Instead of comments like, “Get back in the kitchen!” (actual feedback), I receive comments like, “Hey! Are you a Muslim woman by any chance?? :-)” (also real). Do they even expect an answer? 🤔

So, Stargazing at Handmade Universe has a number of Easter eggs. I’m not sure if you’ve had a chance to see it, @dtbell91 but this was for you - it appears when you press on Monoceros Constellation 🤗

So 2022 seemed to have been the year of the great data breach. Hello Optus, Telstra, Medibank, LastPass 👋 2023 I’ll be decentralising on quite a few fronts. Keepass and Standard Notes to name a couple. What else do you recommend?

That moment you skip the mandatory training on security in JS programming and go straight to the assessment and rank 7th in your company on the first try? Priceless. Now I just need to figure out how to ditch imposter syndrome 🙄

As someone who can’t play the piano and is not religious, Christmas is a time I like to jump on pianola and sing classic Christmas rolls at the top of my lungs. But I always finish with the most important song: Tim Minchin, White Wine in the Sun. Merry Christmas ❤️❤️❤️🤗

Lerna vs Nx vs Turborepo! This feels like Npm vs Yarn vs Pnpm all over again… 😅 Should enterprise systems be based on tech from 2021 with undocumented limitations or slightly older tech with well known limitations?

Wow lerna is dead! Long live lerna

It’s been a while since I’ve been inspired to do any making but feeling pretty chuffed with these blackboard rocket ship party favours for Mr 6yo’s birthday.

Watching a women in tech leadership event about creativity and hearing from someone in Marketing talking about Miro and someone in Sales talking about user testing. 😩

I created this image a little while ago to visualise different ways I've seen Product Teams work. Someone asked me to explain them a little further...so I shall...(1/8)

Surprising things I still use today. I don’t think this company exists anymore but so many fond memories and the pen is bloody brilliant ❤️

A warthog’s tusk, a guppy shark’s jaw (with 5 rows of teeth), the egg of an emu and a fossilised seahorse. Appropriate things to give to a 5yo? 🤔

Scratch that. He setup a Museum in his bedroom and is now charging me entry to visit 🙄😅

If you think about the vastness of space and how enormous our Galaxy and how how big our planet and how small we are, I’m not really eating all that much cheese.
