We support the UN Committee @ChildRights1 who have published their Concluding Observations on #ChildRights in the UK.

We join them in calling on the UK Government to publish a child rights action plan in response.
Such an important campaign - concerted action needed to address the increase in children in care moved far from their home community when this isn’t in their best interests.

We all know moving house can be stressful & disruptive, but while most people move approx. 9 miles away...
The average child in care is moved 18+ miles away - often without consultation & often because there aren't enough places locally.
