this is how trying to focus and visualizing an apple (or anything else) feels like to me (unmedicated adhd) so I've never been able to successfully know if I do have aphantasia or not
tbh i'm having a lot of fun with this guy. i'm using my experience to shape him as a character. i remembered him pretty vividly after waking up, so i imagine that as part of his power. most nightmares you forget, but not him. even his name remains like a black spot in your mind
like i barely ever make OCs so this guy feels like he was gifted to me on a silver platter lol. the fact that he came from a nightmare that genuinely terrified me gives him a weight beyond my own imaginings, like he already existed and i'm just telling the world about him
his dead-eyed stare is pointed just near you. as you try to wake, he traps you in between in a state of utter terror. last night i was hoping i wouldn't make myself have nightmares again, and i took note of that small anxious feeling. "he is the thought you're trying to ignore".

the ending left off on a cliffhanger which i was really surprised by, so i looked it up and apparently this whole movie is a prequel to a horror anthology series that aired on cartoon network?? i gotta see this show!!
