since this site now penalizes users for posting art that isn't strictly sfw, going to use my priv more often! feel free to follow if over 18(pls have age in bio): @cheeeseproduct
this would be a great resource if all the authors agreed to have their works shared on the drive. judging from some of the qrts, this doesn't seem to be the case :(

Earlier today, we detected evidence of a security incident on #AO3. We are still in the early stages of investigating. No AO3 data has been deleted. All your works, bookmarks, kudos, etc., are safe. Learn more at otwstatus.org/incidents/g12jβ¦
We estimate that service restoration for #AO3 will take around 2 weeks but it could be up to 4 weeks. We are hopeful that we will be able to bring the site back up in a degraded state sooner. Refer to our status page for updates: otwstatus.org/

Idk maybe instead of relying on the Internet Archive and peopleβs download collections it would be a nice time to actually build the community thatβs been sorely missing in the fanfic space lately and reach out to your writer oomfs whose fics you were reading or had on hold

readers already demanding a statement from AO3 as if it isn't run by volunteers who have obviously suffered from something pretty serious with the site
try writing yourself or RP with people. it's not the same, but it's infinitely more productive than just acting entitled on twt
