Happy November, Cilliantropolis! November means a lot to me because 1 year ago I embarked on the journey of discovering Cill’s films and music recs, which led to the creation of The Cillian Music Archive! Expect more cool stuff this month as a way to celebrate!

Here’s a funny coincidence. I read and organized these scans last Saturday, and I ended up watching WhaleFall (2026) with my bff the next day! We were supposed to watch a different movie. In the end, the whale 🐋 theme was all there for my weekend!

"It's impossible to interview Cillian. His pale blue eyes refuse to allow it. He's kind & courteous, arrives on time & answers all my questions patiently, thoughtfully. Then you're held in his gaze. It's steady, and open, like his face. His eyes dominate everything." 📷4/9

2/2 I understand the disappointment. It would be epic to watch them live on stage after 30 years. Still, I remain hopeful. When they shared the new line up after a week or so, they suddenly mentioned that there were 180 participants and some extra "mystery' participants"...

1/2 The band's name was removed within a week. I contacted them immediately and was told that Cill had been overwhelmed by the publicity and wanted their name removed out of consideration for the other artists. Later, others were told that they wouldn't come at all.

I personally* saw his name was removed around July 22. The People Festival organizers r the only* ones w the final word & say on the event. For any inquiries, contact them. Old* fan posts confirming his attendance ≠ current I respect Cillian’s decisions and schedule.

I’ve decided to rewrite it this way. So there’s no misunderstanding on who said what when why etc And lastly, it’s very clear cilltwt is only discussing the topic. No one here feels entitled or is demanding that Cillian performs. We respect his decisions and schedule.

Well bad luck after bad luck for cilltwt, it can only mean that either we’ll get really good news or we’ll get shocking bummerish news next. I am delusional so my bet is on BBC Radio 6 announcing another radio appearance of his 🫡

Starting October by sharing this moment of Cillian Murphy singing live on stage during a play. I can’t stop replaying this clip. His voice is so soothing (even when he’s in character).
