If I’m paying for your product and I interact with you on social media, you better reply. Otherwise, I’m churning you.

I just took a 40-minute flight from Amsterdam to London. Did I miss anything?

Trying to close a USD account with @ingnl. Apparently, I need to fill out a form and send it by post. Actual paper. In an envelope. It’s 2026. Why does closing a bank account require a trip to a postbox? 🙃

Spent 8+ hours today working entirely on our free WordPress themes & plugins. Pays off well enough.

At a crossroads with @yamidoohq. 150+ free signups and a handful of paying customers. It already handles most of @wpzoom’s support chats. I use it every day, and it’s exactly what I wanted to build. Still trying to figure out how to reach the right audience. Google still hasn’t indexed any of the website’s 50+ pages after four months, and I’m still trying to figure out why. So I’m deciding where to focus next: invest more in marketing, focus more on @wpzoom and @recipeblock, or open-source it.
So @yamidoohq marketing site is built entirely on Astro, and I'm not going to lie, but I wish I had built it on WordPress. I have never had Google fail to index all pages and posts on a new website, so this is new to me. Already checked everything in Search Console, and it looks correct, yet Google takes too long to index all pages. With WordPress, this happens somehow automagically, so I still think it's better for SEO.

I have 98 plugins installed on @wpzoom. Everything runs fine. Some plugins are literally a single PHP file. A plugin count tells you absolutely nothing about performance, code quality, or security. But I guess counting to 47 is easier than understanding how WordPress works.
Hows that Wordpress site treating you brother? How’s the plugin stack? All 47 of them up to date? Which ones haven't updated? You ok man?

Announcing the death of WordPress every morning is like trashing your ex from 10 years ago. You moved to Astro? Great. Framer? Congrats. Claude builds your sites now? Amazing. Now move on. I’ve been on WordPress since 2006 and building a business on it since 2009. I’m still here. It’s not perfect, it never was, and some themes and plugins will disappear. That’s software. But your personal stack change isn’t a prediction about the web. WordPress still runs ~40% of it, and every day ordinary people launch businesses on it who don’t know what Next.js is and never will. They want a site that works, that they own, that they can grow. Here’s the part the “WP is dead” crowd misses: AI is the best thing that’s happened to WordPress in years. People who couldn’t write a line of CSS now customize their own sites. People scared of code now read the error, paste it into Claude, and fix it themselves. AI didn’t make WordPress obsolete. It made the most accessible platform on the web even more accessible. If WordPress isn’t for you anymore, fine. Just move on. Below, Syed will post a tweet about WPVibe: 👇

One-shotted this video with @HyperFrames_ and Opus 5.5. It handled everything: script, voice, and audio. What a time to live in. youtube.com/watch?v=AmrVHXW-…
