We talk a lot about people changing their party affiliation but is there any data on how many people just ya know, moved? I know a lot of people who have in the past two years. And voted blue in the new place.
Woke up from an anxiety dream in which all the IT people and phone setup admins in the newly blue districts were republican voters. Anyway, please no pranks and make sure the transition isn’t hindered by the logistical stuff.
I have a cue in my show I have to time by counting Mississippis and I think blue tsunami should work too.
I think the category should not actually be “white no college degree..”That’s misleading and a euphemism. Category is actually “white people who did not leave their place of birth to meet (or perhaps even fall in love with) people different from them.”
Proud of Iowa. The Grinnell peeps are happy. When I lived there it voted blue and was one of the first states to allow same-sex marriage. Trick is getting college students to stay there. I suggest loose meat sandwiches for all.
The Daniel Sullivan thing is funny because I have a cast member who couldn’t use that name when he turned equity because there is already a member using that name. So neither of the ones running for office in Alaska have legal name protection but that actor does. Initials it is.
Really so heartened to see so many actors and stage managers taking advantage of the free flu shot days at the Friedman health center. Get vaxed. Treat yourself to noodles after. Be the person you can be. Congratulate random strangers wearing their marathon medals.
I know we are not supposed to care about politician’s looks but a lot are dressed worse than their potential constituents. Where does the $ go? Tailor the suit if you have to go by car everywhere.
If you don’t vote, it’s a failure of all the older people in your life who could have taught you something and didn’t. Like being a regular reader it’s something that needs to be taught to love early so you can choose the books you like as an adult.
Voted early and even in my somewhat busy polling place it took 3 minutes. And if you do it before work you can say you have already achieved something with your day.
I will never understand the videos where women put on make-up to explain something important. Wtfuckity fuck is that? Also, it slows down the make-up!

NYers with transition lenses are having a very weird week as the sun is going in and out faster than the rate of change on the lens coating. Just watched two people bump into each other and another person trying to get hers to lighten to read her book inside.
But why can’t they do a lift? Is the schedule on Dancing With the Stars (a show I have not seen) so tight they don’t have time for a 10-minute lift call? If you take precautions lifts are not inherently dangerous but you do need to do them pre-show once without adrenaline.
