It's a while since I was in an economics class, but I do remember that competition was one of the best ways to keep prices down. Instead of chastising grocery stores, open up the market to stores like Lidl & Aldi. Why do we have oligopolies in Telco's, TV, banks, airlines & food?
Just paying my household gas bill and see that my Federal carbon tax is 23%. The 10 year ave Jan temps for Calgary is -11C and this year it was -10.5C. So glad my money is helping. Well done Justin! #taxgrab

This exactly shows the problem of misinformation content. The initial tweet suggests that glyphosate is proven dangerous in mice but in actuality the dose was so high that it would not happen in reality. Read the thread.

This digitally altered tweet has been circulating since 2019 and debunked since by several fact-checkers. It is not visible on Twitter search and Politwoops, a project by ProPublica that archives deleted tweets from politicians, shows no record of the alleged tweet.

What a refreshing read.
Many say climate change threatens economies but a major new report by the New York Fed says the impact of extreme weather events has been & will remain trivial
The real threat, the authors warn, comes not from climate change, but from climate policy
