The fact that Quentin Tarantino wrote an entire 1977 Once Upon a Time in Hollywood sequel script, got unenthused about directing it, and passed the keys to David Fincher so it wouldn't count against his "10-movie rule" is an all-time piece of cinema lore You can debate whether Fincher’s cold, 80-take perfectionism actually fits Tarantino’s loose, nostalgic writing style but watching Brad Pitt as Cliff Booth in IMAX on November 25 is going to be wild.
