i love writing so much. almost any type of writing. there's just something so beautiful about thinking through what you're trying to communicate, and turning that into a story or narrative for other people (or even just for yourself) to understand. words & language are beautiful.

This level of greed is unsustainable. Landlords are literally leeching the life from the working class. Something has got to give.

Lmaoooo this is literally just gonna be billionaires looting the place under the guise of “being efficient.”
How does everyone not see how fucking obvious this is?

😊 I am a children’s book author & illustrator, friend! My first book, Homegrown, came out this year! It’s about a little Black girl learning about the traditions and culture that have been passed down through generations to make her who she is.
ALT Illustration of a little back girl with long braids that have ribbons, rubber bands, barrettes and beads on them. She is smiling wide with a gapped tooth smile.

Breaking- A Guardian investigation can reveal Israel used a US munition to target & kill 3 journalists in south Lebanon on 25 Oct, a potential war crime.
Israeli surveillance tech & use of precision bomb means it likely knew it was targeting journalists.

You don’t have community because you aren’t a good community member. You don’t host events, you don’t know how to cook, you don’t know how to dance, you don’t know how to sing, and you aren’t doing anything to learn. You can’t tell stories or jokes.

"I want to raise my kids in New York." A feeling so many parents share but too few get to realize due to the city's escalating affordability crisis, especially when it comes to childcare. Proud to see CwK member @thedianamoreno featured in @ZohranKMamdani’s launch video!

I will not be quiet about this. So heartbreaking, this world is crooked.
🚨Breaking; The Israeli army has killed Palestinian artist and cartoonist Mohassen Al-Khatib in a massacre in northern #Gaza.
Her final artwork, completed just hours before her killing , illustrated Israel burning the tents of displaced families and killing them.

Everyone deserves equity in whatever they work on. Artists on movies, engineers on businesses, baristas at coffee shops, etc
