Visited my Gram tonight.
She told me about a guy in her seniors home that must be ‘at least 93 or 94’ who gets along just fine, just uses a walker. She thought that was rather impressive.
She’s 92. Her walker is in the corner collecting dust. Not needed.

ALT Quote by Prime Minister Mark Carney: The name Lake Ontario comes from the Wendat word Ontari’io, which, appropriately, means “the lake is beautiful, the lake is big”. The name is more than 400 years old, predating both the Confederation of Canada and the Declaration of Independence of the United States of America. We know that America is changing. Their trading relationships, their foreign policies, their national monuments, their hydronyms. Canadians also know that naming reality means calling it Lake Ontario – then, now and always.

I condemn the violence following Premier Houston’s speaking event in the Annapolis Valley.
In Canada, we have the right to protest peacefully. There is no excuse to resort to violence and intimidation.
Thank you to the RCMP and law enforcement who responded quickly to keep everyone safe.

Regardless of your hockey team, this Stanley Cup Finals intro is absolutely unbelievable…
Ray Bourque interview, @TheKillers ‘All These Things That I’ve Done’ playing, Jon Hamm narrating… Just perfection. Made me tear up.
Extremely well done 👏🏽👏🏽

Canada’s government strongly believes that the interests of Albertans and all Canadians are best served when we work together. As one example, Canada and Alberta are now moving forward with a landmark agreement that gives investors certainty and unlocks the full potential of Alberta’s resources in both clean and conventional energy. With this agreement, Prime Minister Carney and Premier Smith are demonstrating that cooperative federalism works — and delivers results.
As we take note of Premier Smith’s address this evening, we remain focused on building a stronger Canada for all, in full partnership with Alberta and to the benefit of all Albertans and all Canadians.

Nova Scotia has a world-class wind resource, and we’re working to develop it with Wind West. That means good-paying jobs here at home and a locally produced supply of power for Nova Scotians. For excess energy produced, there are markets that are hungry for that power. That’s why today I signed an agreement today with the Governor of Massachusetts to work toward Nova Scotia supplying the state with clean energy from offshore wind.
Our agreement with Massachusetts signals to developers that markets for their clean energy are solidifying, giving them even more confidence to invest in our new offshore wind industry. I look forward to sharing this clean energy with Massachusetts, powering economic opportunities for the New England region, and creating thousands of jobs and billions in investment in Nova Scotia.

As @MarkJCarney says, in the United States health care is a business, in Canada it’s a right.
Danielle knows this and is a fierce advocate for how we make Canada a healthier and stronger place while still holding true to our values.
What a great MP she’ll be.

The One Canadian Economy Act has received Royal Assent.
With it, we’ll break down more barriers to internal trade and build big things faster across the country.
Thanks to all the Members of Parliament and Senators — from all parties — who got this done, together.
